PS3 Controller Wireless 2 Pack - for D-S3 Remote for P-S-3,D-S3 Joystick (White+Black)

Reviews here seem to be all over the place. I find that these are a little different than original equipment, but they have worked just fine so far. I can't think of any reason to complain, which I guess says it all.I got mine just over a month ago when I had a craving to play the original Borderlands again (still a hugely fun game). So I've been putting in a lot of hours (Borderlands is a long game) that include a lot of trigger, button and joystick use.These feel slightly different than the OEM Sony's, and certainly lighter, but I don't think that necessarily translates to them being overly cheap. I haven't had any performance or charging issues at all (you need to use the cable to charge them, btw).It's amazing value that you get two controllers (yes two), and both have cables and rubber covers for the joysticks.For an old platform that is still relevant today, you need an ongoing supply of controllers and these are very good, possibly the best available. Certainly a heck of a lot better than the "certified used" one I tried from my local GameStop.

These are quality and economical. They pair better and react faster than the PS4 controllers that came with the device. Edit July 2019: one got a broken piece of plastic after toddler stepped on it and they both started intermittently malfunctioning. They have a warranty but after three months you have to pay for shipping yourself and that would cost as much as the controllers. I took them apart and they were really easy to service. Kids got crud inside and I cleaned it and sodered loose junctions. I saw the battery was puffed up and failing (it only has a 300maH in it) so I got 2 Sony replacement batteries for $10 (at 1800maH) and they are as good as new!

I bought these controllers for my 5 and 8 year old who can be a little rough on the controllers so I wanted to provide them with a more affordable controller than my OEM ones! The controllers seem to work fine, take and hold a decent charge, etc. But, for some reason, when I place them on our external charger to charge, they'll turn on and turn on the PS3. Turn off the PS3, within a minute, it'll turn back on. It does this mostly with the white controller. So I can't charge them when the PS3 is off!

I ordered these for my husband and teen son to replace the original controllers that came with their Ps3. They asked me to never order these again. I wished in had returned them before the return window closed. They feel much cheaper in hand than the Sony brand and after a minute of not using they cut their self off. I'm sure this is a battery saver but it's super annoying when watching YouTube, Netflix, etc. You have to turn the controller back on every time you need to pause or change what you are watching. We wouldn't order again, I'm searching now for Sony brand and these will go to the yard sale.

2020 and you're looking for an official PS3 controller? good luck with that one unless you live in Japan. Even if you can find one that says its official, its probably a fake. Aftermarket is all you can probably able to find here in the states unless you want used. One problem with used is buttons sticking and it seems like you are pushing random buttons on the controller. For the price of these 2 controllers, you really cannot complain much. Not that I have many. The controller feels lighter than the Dualshock controllers. The vibrate is not as steady as the original, its seems a bit stronger, but since the controller is lighter, it feels kind of weird. I would love to have a way to disable it. I had no problem connecting to PS3. It does have one advantage over dualshock, you can charge this with any usb charging providing you use the correct cable. I did have problem connecting this to retropi on the raspberry pi 3+. It just wont connect via bluetooth even when I had proper drivers install. Only way for me to use it with retrol pi is with a cable attached.

Decent packaging, terrible product. Since classic DualShock is becoming hard to find nowadays, we resort to third-party ones. Though, without fail every time, they always have horrible joy sensitivity and drift. We've wasted at least $150 going through knock-offs, fakes, and third-party accessories in order to find anything that is decent! With this, the same problem. You have to move the joystick about halfway down for it to actually register. When it does register, it jerks your screen and makes it terribly difficult to play FPS. Do not waste your money, resort to other sellers to sell original controllers! With these, you are wasting your time.

Im gonna be honest. I bought them as something for myself. Ive used 1 for less then 24 hours and had to dismantle it myself to fix a sticky joystick. Ive only used it for maybe 4 hours of actual gameplay. I will admit. It feels good in the hands. I do enjoy the joystick pads. But overall. Its not the best. Are they worth the price. Maybe.

My controllers were scrambled from being knocked to the floor by my kids and these are fantastic replacements! Affordable, they arrived fast and most important, they work! It's kind of nice that they turn themselves off if their idle (i.e. when I'm watching Netflix) as this means I get more out of the battery life. My only complaint is that if I have one of them plugged into the console to charge, it automatically is on and defaults to being "controller 1". Other than that, they're great!

Got it for kids to play but they broke so easily, original ps3 controller still hanging there but these are almost gone, sticks and buttons gets stuck

They work but feel cheeply made and did crack after frist few weeks.

No different than your standard PS3 controller. Operates great, and battery life is decent, but dies fairly quickly under heavy use. Glad it's a pack of 2. Best bang for your buck by far.
