I have 2 domestic shorthair cats, one who likes to be brushed and one who gets bitey and runs around. These things are great, the nubs are slightly tacky and a shocking amount of hair comes out of the cats very quickly. I thought maybe there might not be a cat left under the pile of hair. One cat gets excited and drools when you pet him, but for some reason he doesn't drool when I brush him with these. WINNING.I love these, but there might be some potential cons: these fit my hands really well and I have tiny hands. If you have large hands or long fingers, they might not fit. The hair doesn't all stick to the glove, if you envisioned lazily petting your animal in your lap with these on, you will end up covered in fur.

Bought these gloves for my Shiba Inu , I didn't expect (because before I've tried several products and they didn't work) they would work like vacuum cleaner for fur ,use them outside or while washing because when I'm cleaning my little friend it takes huge amounts of hair and never argues to be pampered and cleaned once more. also it is very practical to clean underneath and take dirt or even clean butt. My several friends also bought these gloves by my recommendation and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them everyone I meet. This is a great tool for controlling my dogs shedding. My only issue is that after a month the rubber seams have torn. I can still use it but I thought that it was too fast to be tearing.Update: bought in October and 6 months later it looks like the pictures. This happened months ago but I realized that without the rubber coating, the spikes are too pointy and too harsh for my short haired dog. It also flakes off the black rubber when I'm brushing her so I have to get that off too. Wish they were more durable.

I have the furminator as well and as great as that works, it does not compare to how well these gloves work. My dog has short hair, but boy does she shed like a maniac. I use these gloves for like a 30+ minute session to really get all her extra hair off and wowza, it keeps getting hair out AND my girl loves it. Matter of fact, all the dogs at my mom's house also love the gloves. Well worth the purchase.

I used these to give my dog a bath, she is a Norwegian elkhound with a double coat, getting the soap all over is a chore. She is usually pretty difficult to bathe because she hates water and flails, so I was really happy that these gloves seemed to work the soap into her coat. I used so much less soap than usual and the best part was that we were in and out in a quarter of the time we usually take. I love these for that reason alone.

My pup blows coat twice a year and each time I face an explosion of undercoat that makes it look like I have twenty dogs vice just the one. I have tried loads of brushes, to include the furminator, to no avail. I thought the battle was lost for good. These gloves do the trick and my dog comes running to me when he sees me pull them out, so I guess he’s also a fan.

I've tried the other kinds of grooming gloves (cobalt blue medium-hard plastic) but these are just amazing--soooo much better!! My cat is very sensitive (white furred animal style sensitive skin) and she doesn't love this but it sucks hair off so quickly just a couple of strokes a couple of times a day and she's groomed to the point of no longer having hairballs! Yay!

I bought this amazing Gloves several days ago for my cutey and wanna say and advice for everyone who want to care about their lovely pets. It's really most needed, comfortable and flexible thing beyond everything I've ever tested.This is exactly best invention...Thanks again and again....
