This product does a super job cleaning your cartridge filter. I prefer to use in a spray bottle. I put the filter in a 5 gallon bucket, spay with cleaner, fill bucket with water let sit for two hours ,then flip over to do the same to other side . Take it out of the bucket spray it off with your garden hose .

Used this product on my pool filter cartridge. Works well as described. After 5 days of soaking with this cleaner you can see the grease and oils coming out. I will purchase again.

This cleaner did absolutely nothing for my pool filter. I followed the directions exactly, soaked the cartridge overnight, and the filter still looked dirty and clogged. The liquid itself seems watered down, not concentrated at all. On top of that, it has a strong chemical smell that lingers even after rinsing. Definitely not a 6-month supply. Save your money and buy something that actually works.

I’ve always been told to soak my filter in muriatic acid to clean it. I avoided cleaning the filter because disposing of a 20 gallon garbage can full of a muriatic acid mix is hard to figure out. It kills the grass permanently, and it’s not the safest solution to handle. I’m so glad I gave this product a try. It dropped my priming pressure by 10, my jet output is stronger, and disposing of the product was easy. If you have one large filter, you need two bottles. Other than that, the directions are clear and the product is excellent.
