Yes it will stink like farts when you use it, but it will remove the tarnish on your sterling/precious metal items effortlessly! Similar to a product from Fire Mountain Gems that costs considerably more per ounce. Great product, especially if you can use it outside or in a well ventilated area.

This is very good for removing tarnished silver and silver plate. Best use is to pour some in a plastic basin and put the tarnished item in. It works rapidly, then rinse. You can reuse the remaining solution, just pour it back into the container. However, as there is no tarnish protection, the silver will soon tarnish again. So, the best thing to do is polish the now tarnish free item with silver cream with an inhibitor, and since the tarnish is gone, it take just a quick wipe on, rub, and rinse to protect the silver.

I can’t say enough about this stuff. Melts the tarnish right off. I clean silverplate and silver items with it and it is just so effective, saves hours of time you might spend using just a cloth. Just remember to wear gloves when using it because cleaners like this are caustic. Also open a window close by because there are some fumes but not really bad. I love it, price is very reasonable. Large economy size as well. If you have a yellowish or whiteish tint when finished, use a tarnish cleaning cloth to remove the residue.

If you have silver tarnish this is better than a magic wand! Tarnish simply disappears. It is fast, easy and efficient. A once difficult task has become soooo easy. After cleaning the silver it is ready for a quick polishing, and your whole world feels better.

This is a very good product. I've got lots of silver jewelry and get tired of sitting and polishing with a cloth. I saw my jewelry turn silver very quick as soon as it hit the solution. I placed them in a large Tupperware container, rinsed off with dawn, dried, and ready to wear. It was easy with no mess. Oh yes, also very good on my silver & turquoise jewelry. I love it!

I was having difficulty finding a store that carried the Tarn X Tarnish Remover, so I looked online through Amazon and was thrilled to find a 4 litre jug professional quality version of Tarn X. When I did the math as to the quantity of the TarnX Pro for the price, I was thrilled to b re able to purchase a professional grade product for that price. It is even better than we had hoped. I can’t say enough good things about this product. You should definitely buy it for cleaning your silver, unless you only have a few pieces to clean. If you have any larger pieces of silver or silver plate, or more than one set of silver, you are going to want this product.
