Galaxy S6.My OEM battery started swelling, bought this kit to replace it, the job was mostly easy because the back cover was already popped up from the battery swell. Going into the battery status of the phone it still reports the battery as 2550 mAh, not the 2750 mAh that this is advertised as.My 4g LTE signal is very, very weak after the replacement and I'm certain I did not damage the main antenna. I don't know if it's some kind of interference from the battery, or because the battery is different from the OEM specs. My WiFi is fine however, 4g LTE has become unbearably slow.

Between the $17 battery product, the $85 turn in value - I just wasted over $100 and now my daughter doesn't have a phone. She has taken immaculate care of her Samsung s6- no cracks- no issues- but the battery just wouldn't last. She really liked her phone and it's lasted a teen three years- just needed better battery life. So I went ahead and ordered this product.Now it is trash. It won't turn on. I have spent hours before installing the new battery, and after trying to fix the phone- videos, tutorials. Yep, changing this battery broke my phone. THIS PHONE IS NOT DESIGNED TO BE OPENED UP! I used a heat gun to "warm" the glue- no you are prying this apart and are going to break connections. They are computer connections shorter than the smallest pick in the pack.Wasted $100 and now I get to find another phone, quickly.

Before I bought this product, my phone worked great but it would not hold a charge throughout the day. I would need to keep charging it a couple times to get through the day on normal use. I was uncertain how to rate this product because I followed every step precisely to open my Samsung S6; yet, after I connected this battery I get a flashing blue light and my phone will not turn on. I went through several booting/resetting procedures I watched on YouTube with no success. So again, I question the compatibility. It's unfortunate that even when I put the old battery back in now, my phone still won't turn on. I HIGHLY recommend that you back-up all your contacts and save ALL your pictures & videos to a different device before trying to replace your battery. After a couple days without a phone, I ended up purchasing a new phone. I lost my contacts, pictures, and videos and now I have a battery I cannot use.

I was able to replace the S6 battery but I have been trained to do it. Just realize you have to use a hair dryer or heat gun (low setting) to get the face off....that is the hardest part and the part where you can screw it up real easy.

Review update 4/10/2018 to 4 star.I updated this review as the seller is very helpful in making sure I received the best experience. Battery came with excellent tools to remove the case from my Samsung S6. I did purchase a separate heat gun, just because I also wanted one, but it helped in loosening the glue on the back side of the phone. YouTube videos show using either a heat gun or hair dry. My initial battery issue was due to not calibrating the battery properly with my Samsung S6. Seller was very helpful and provided their recommended calibration process as follows:How to calibrate phone battery?1.Drain phone battery completely and let phone die2. Charge the phone fully without turning on phone.3. Once it is fully charged, turn it on and don’t touch it for 30 minutes.4. Then plug in the charger and let it to charge for another 30 minutes, don’t use it in between.5. Once the battery is fully charged, unplug it and your battery is now calibrated.This process was very helpful to increase battery life, but for my phone was a marginal increase in performance. I did request an RMA for a different battery and the seller was very responsive and helpful in making sure I received the best experience and support from them. I can not provide a post second battery performance review, sadly after installing the second battery and before I could test performance I broke my phone beyond recovery and had to upgrade to a different phone.I recommend and would buy this product and from this seller again in the future. Don't let my prior 3/13/2018 review sway you away.Purchased on 3/13/2018. This new 2750mAh battery holds less charge than my old OEM 2550mAh battery. Instructions and included tools worked really well, but after charging up the battery to 100% this morning at 6:30am I took it off charge and by 1:00pm today battery was down to 13% remaining and by 1:45pm phone had powered down. My old OEM battery would at least last from 6:30a - 4:00p. I didn't change apps or useage of the phone between new and old battery. I really thought with an increase of 200mAh and a new battery, I'd get through the day or at least into the evening before having to put the phone on charge again.

The battery was not easy to install. All the tools and adhesive (light blue weird shapes in the item photos) where included except heat source. You will need hair dryer, heat gun or hot plate to loosen up the adhesive grip. If the back glass is cracked, put packing tape over it or replace it. The screen will need adhesive too. Directions where inluded but there are videos on youtube for additional support.You will need to reset the internal battery meter. Fully charge the phone. Use it till it is drain and powers off. Fully charge it with it powered off. Power it on unplugged. Leave it on idle for 30 minutes. Plug it in to charge to 100%. Should be reset.

Given what a pain it is to change one of these batteries, I hoped to at least get a year of making it through the day... No such luck. Please note I do not play games or use maps, play music, use faceBook, or watch videos... I average about 15 texts a day and on average spend less than one hour talking. Time spent using Google or internet is also less than an hour, MUCH less on most days.
