I was looking for cotton terrycloth kitchen towels. These are beautiful!

Towels are very nice in appearance however not absorbent enough.

The towels are not only nice looking, but a good weight and absorbent. Nice phrase with muted colors on the design.

Bought for my mom as a gift because she likes the colors shown in the picture. :) Well, when I got these I thought I'd gotten the wrong towels because the background on mine is off-white. The jar is green/teal, flowers in jar are same teal and rust color. The "choose joy" towel has rust instead of pink flowers, teal instead of blue flowers and the butterfly is a lot darker. The lettering on both is dark brown. The picture to me looks like the lettering is gray. That said, I still think these are very nice kitchen towels. They are a good size - not too large or too small to use easily. It's not the thickest terry cloth I've used but it's not the thinnest either. Can't comment on absorbency because it's a gift. The tag says 100% cotton so should be absorbent but you never know until you use it. I think it's pricey but what isn't these days?
