My 15 year old is end stages of kidney. Not sure how much longer I will have him but this is helping him. He's able to eat it and not get sick from it. So its giving us time. :(

The actual trays of this Italian dog food are somewhat clumsy to open and the quality of packaging seems small and fragile to travel so far. HOWEVER, this ITALIAN (non prescription) renal support dog food has been a "life line" for my little 15 year old Chihuahua, who was diagnosed with renal disease. She was not eating any of the "other" well known brands of VET RX options. But she IS eating Forzo10 ! I am comfortable with the quality of ingredients as well as the nutritional analysis. i am thrilled that Amazon is carrying this product and making it so available. .So, if you have a little fur baby who has renal issues, don't give up hope. Have patience....

Our dog wouldn’t eat several other kidney diets but he loves this one. It’s a little pricey though.

My dog loves this food but I don’t understand the feeding guidelines at all. My dog is 12lbs and he needs to gain weight. It says 4 3/4 a day for a 12lbs dog. 4 3/4 what? Ounces? Or trays? I’d it’s 4 3/4 trays that is like 16oz of food a day. That seems high. Please advise. Thanks

I was hoping my dog would like this. She hated all other KD food. She did seem to eat a little, butthen walked away. I noticed it had some bone fragments in it. The next day she became very sick. Diarrhea, bloody stool, and vomiting. This went on for 24 hrs! I threw all the food away!

Great for dogs with kidney and dental problems.
