Simple and effective. And important safety item for tractors.
I bought this for my Kubota B23X tractor. My sailboat already has one. LOL.My yard is very hilly, and I want to always be aware of my side angle while traveling on or mowing my lawn on these slopes.I like that the scale of this is perfect. And it’s easy to see from my seat. Oh, and easy to apply with the double sided tape pad already on the back.I just needed to be sure my tractor was perfectly level before affixing. Easy to do with a regular level. Then affix at zero.I wish this came standard on all tractors. If they had a pitch meter I’d get that, too. Maybe I just need one more and attach front to back so I can see the incline front to back.

helps me prevent a tractor rollover
I do some brush hogging for a local HOA on undeveloped lots. Some of them are pretty hilly, so I bought this after the last mowing session to reduce the "pucker factor" :)I made sure to install this with a reference level surface so that I could be confident in the angle shown on the gauge. As long as I keep it to ~15 degrees or less, I feel pretty safe now and this gauge lets me focus on the mowing and not worry as much about the angle. The indicator ball is damped by some sort of fluid, which makes for smooth transitions between measurements. For my use case, this is a great product.

easy to read, seems accurate
We use this on our UTV to be able to know when we are approaching tip over angle. This Clinometer seems accurate and is damped just about right. The only negative I can say is that it should come with the option to be removable some way. We attached it to the plastic dashboard of our UTV, then wanted to move it to another location and the double sided tape is good...almost too good because we could not get it off. I think there should be a velcro option. Besides that, this is just fine and works good.

Nice safety measure for a tractor
Bought this to add to my John Deere 1025r compact tractor, for a bit more scientific evaluation of my inclination besides the "pucker factor". I struggled to find a mounting location that provided good visibility of the gauge, but ultimately placed it on one of the vertical front end loader arms. It now provides a good measure for how much of a side-hill I'm on, and how much of a safety margin I have. I've found that in some cases that had made me nervous, I was in fact reasonably within the margin of tip-danger.I hadn't noticed from the product photos, but the gauge measuring precision twice as fine between 0-15 degrees than it is from 15-30 degrees. I would have preferred if this had been reversed, and the region of finer precision were between 15-30 degrees, as that is a more appropriate 'danger zone'. Between 0-15, in my uses, precision is unnecessary and gross measurement would've been sufficient.

Excellent for Tractor
I use this on my Kubota compact tractor. I guess I've watched too many tractor safety videos, and it doesn't take much tilt to feel like a lot. So it's mostly to reassure me that I'm not close to 20-degrees. I had a piece of angle tin that I used to mount it upright on the hood. It must be mounted close to dead vertical or it will not be accurate. Fluid filled tube, so it doesn't wander from vibration.

One of the best purchases I made for lawn tractor
This gauge is an essential addition to any tractor that does not have a level gauge on it. Once installed I saw I was over exerting my lawn tractor beyond its limits on many slopes.
