Karaoke Revolution Presents: American Idol Encore BUNDLE - Xbox 360

I am not very pleased with the microphone that came with this product, as I thought this was brand new. However, this was NOT the case. Upon opening my package and pulling out the microphone, I noticed that the box on the microphone said "Rock Band". I have played Rock Band before, so I know the mic when I see one; Regardless, the thing worked and was pleased...Until it started sounding distorted and was making a screeching sound whenever someone would speak into the mic. I have since, replaced this microphone with a new one that i bought, that came BRAND NEW from a distributor. That's another thing, I was to the understanding that there was NOTHING wrong with this product and that all the original pieces were there.

No more downloadable content is available - and I bought it because the information said that there were more songs that could be purchased in the X-Box 360 store. Eh...if you like singing the same set of songs over and over and over and over and over...it's all right.

I ordered this for nieces. They enjoy but i don't really like American Idol. But as long as my nieces like it I am okay with it.

Bought this for our 10 year old who loves singing & loves American Idol.She loves the judging and loves the game. The only downfall is that the song choicesaren't that great for her age, she didn't know any of them but trying them & practicing she now knows alot and loves it!!!!Definately a great buy!!!!!

Gets boring after you've gone through all the songs. Maybe we can revive it after a couple of years.

Bought this for my daughter who lives out of state and she's a small child. She couldn't play it because she doesn't have the internet because it has drm which is sad because I got it as a christmas gift for her. Can't play without connecting to the internet.

It has a lot of the songs the 8-12 year old kids enjoy, plus a fair amount of songs for the older crowd. I am very satisfied with the price and product

During the past few months, my friends and I have been very interested in music video games and have spent many Friday afternoons and evenings playing them. This one has not been one of our favorites.First of all, there is no option to buy this game without the bundled USB microphone which adds to the cost. I already own multiple microphones from other singing games I have purchased and really didn't want any more. This one also felt cheaper and lighter compared to some other ones, such as the Rock Band microphone.I was also disappointed, because the tracks are not sung by the original artists but rather third parties. If I am going to spend $70 on a game, I would prefer to at least have the original tracks to listen to instead of some other unknown singers, especially for songs I don't know and am being introduced to by the game.The characters, which are not a huge part of the game, nevertheless are all kind of ugly. This makes it more difficult for my me and my friends to choose characters that will be like us on the screen, because we don't like looking the way most of the characters look. This isn't too big of a deal, but it's slightly annoying, so I figured I would throw the idea out there.The backgrounds are rather boring compared to some other singing games, such as Singstar, which includes the original music videos in the backgrounds. All the background shows while you're singing is the ugly character you are forced to choose (because there are no pretty ones) possibly dancing badly.Conclusively, if you just want to sing with words and pitch bars and do not care about any of the other features of the game, then this game should be fine. However, I feel like the overall value is less than the cost due to several flaws.

It not worth the price even if you are a American Idol fan that's a rip off
