They do not illuminate a large area or anything but, the jars themselves are illuminated quite well. It’s more of an ambience light. They did exactly what I thought they would do and they look nice in my garden. They stay lit about 5-6 hours with a charge.

I love these little lights, they are bright and twinkly and I put them in Kerr jelly jars, and they really bounce off the inside of the jar with the jar having an embossed exterior I use the hangers on a long hook coming out of the side of my trees in my yard and I hung my hanging baskets with a twinkle light inside the jar inside the basket all the neighbors have really complimented on how lovely we are at night. The batteries charge fast in the Sun and lights last well into the night I would definitely buy again they are real bargain for the price.

I love these lights. I gently unwrapped them and put them in the jar. Fastened the lid and added the hanger without difficulty. I have a ton of the old fashioned blue canning jars with zinc lids. The solar lid didn't fit the little jar but fit the tall jar just find. The little jars do not taper at the top. I have to take out of the tree during day so they can get Sun light to charge. But they look adorable. Going to put more in the back yard.

The lights are really cute. They are on steadily, not blinking. I finally found enough jars that the wire holders would fit onto, mostly small jelly-sized ones. It's frustrating to try to get them to work on regular-sized jars because they bulge too much just below where the screw-on ridges are located. I did use one, with great success into a gazing ball whose light at deteriorated. I didn't want to use something that hat a sensor on a wire hanging out of the gazing ball. Can't comment on the waterproofness since I am in California and we won't have rain for several more months. I think I did get one of the wire thingies to work by also using a pipe cleaner to get the wire part to connect around the jar. I have placed them in several places and they look cute, even when they are not dangling straight down but at an angle on a sideways hook. I might order these again. I wish the part that goes around the jar were just 1/4 inch longer.

The lights are really bright and look very pretty in the jar. Last night was the first night I had them - I only set up 4 out of the 6 lids. All initially lit up but then later only 2 were still lit. Hopefully after a full day of charging in the sun today, all will stay lit tonight. Overall though, I love them!

After reading other reviews about the hangers not working, I was prepared for a struggle when they arrived. And struggle I did.... until..... I realized that the hangers go ABOVE the glass ring on the jar, right UNDER where the screw on lid sits, the light lid touches the hanger when screwed on. Once I figured that out I was able to pop them all right on with ease. One battery quit right away, but other than that, they are working fine.

Love these units. No, they are not bright: They are not supposed to be. They offer a delightfully whimsical cast of fairy dust glow to wherever you put them. The hangers secure well to the jar, which makes me feel less concerned about accidental (or incidental) separation of the two pieces. Perfect for anyone who might enjoy their garden, porch, patio, or yard at night.

Loved the fairy lights. Easy to put together with the mason jars we bought. The hangers allowed us to hang them on shepherd hooks. We also placed some of them on tables around the back yard. The twinkling effect is delightful. Many of them last all through the night. A great addition to our yard.
