Shea Moisture High Porosity Moisture Correct Masque, 12 Ounce

Im a new curl girl. I’m half Honduran and half black with type 3c/4a hair and since transitioning my hair was so dry. After using so many deep conditioners and my hair not feeling any better, i checked a lot of you tubers and came across excellent reviews for this one. I said let me give it a try. It has so much slip so i can finger detanglw and my hair drinks it up.

This stuff is "Butter" on African American hair. If you have issues with Coarse, Brittle, Tangled, Tightly Curly Hair, this is the Product for you! Then if you also have issues with Hard Water, along with your Hair issues, ((((BOOM)))) this what you should be using on your Hair!

OMG this stuff is the best! I read a ton of reviews before buying it and I was a little worried about the smell since so many people had complained about it. For me, the smell isn't bad, and honestly even if it did stink I'd still use it because it has been AMAZING for my hair. I have naturally curly thin hair, and I have bleached it more times than I probably should have. This last bleaching was done at a salon and my hair was so fried it wouldn't even curl anymore. I didn't know it could be so damaged that the curls can just become straight frizzy hay.. I was desperate.. I tried the coconut oil, and every deep conditioner on the shelf to no avail. I was at the point of considering cutting it all off until I found this. I did the water porosity test with a strand of hair and that led me to amazon looking for a natural product that might change my hair nightmare. This stuff is worth it's weight in gold, I use it as a deep conditioner and I also use a tiny bit as a leave in. After a week of treatments my hair is soft, shiny and my curls have come back! I will definitely purchase this again. I also bought the co wash and oil, and they are also great products. I do find the oil to be a bit heavy for my hair, so I just spray it once into my hand put it on my ends. BUY THIS You won't be disappointed :)

I bought this mask before understanding porosity. My belief was that my hair isbhigh porosity, based on color/heat styling history, dryness and a comment made by a stylist a few years back. It turns out that my hair is actually low porosity and this product makes it look AWFUL. My already thick 2b waves feel very weighed down, stretched and shapeless. Bad news for me, but great news for people with high porosity hair, so if this is your hair type, you will like this product.

Updated review: At first this product was the greatest deep conditioner for my 4bc hair, but this time it just sat on my hair and did nothing. I don't know if this is from a bad batch or the changed the ingredients, but it sucks now. I am so disappointedOriginal review: It really moisturized my type 4 kinky natural hair. After the first use of the first jar I bought 7 more. I use it once a week with a steam cap for about 1/2 hr under my hooded dryer after shampooing or clay mask and it makes my hair really manageable, soft and shiny. It has been really hard finding products that works so well for my type 4 hair after I big chopped 6 months after I stopped getting a relaxer. I am glad I found this product, plus I mine for under 7 bucks right here on Amazon.

the lid broke and it leaked all over the box and the other items in the box. It would be better if the jars were wrapped in plastic. This is my favourite deep conditioner and it is soul crushing to see it wasted! The product itself is great; very moisturizing.

I have high porosity, fine, 2c/3a natural curls. This is one of my holy grail products. It’s affordable, smells great, works beautifully in my hair. I use this product 2-4 times per month for deep conditioning and I love it!

First use review. 4/5 but if the improvement in my hair continues I’d say 5/5. Slightly pricey but so far it has done exactly as it says it would. My hair was extremely rough and bumpy and dry on pretty much every individual strand. With a.nice little halo of frizz on the crown of my head. After one use, everything has smoothed dramatically. And not just superficially. The bumps and roughness seem to have really been reduced. Only time will tell if this mask will genuinely contribute to continued healthy hair. I did use the mask however, in conjunction with a heat spray for porous hair although I don’t think the spray is the credit for the smoother hair.Also, arrived a week sooner than expected so that was a really nice surprise.

I only just received my order so not a full review as I only wet my hands and finger coiled my dry hair into little sections smoothing down the frizz as I did so. Hair looked much better then I spritzed with some water. Looked more Moisturized I’m still learning to car for my high Porosity Sahara desert dry hair but this product didn’t disappoint

Use it with the shampoo on my 4a/b hair & pleased with the results. If you have hair that’s suck water dry! Like mine it’s worth trying, lovely and soft. Worth the price

I have high porosity hair and this mask is a must for me. Leaves my 4c hair feeling moisture and my curls popping! Couldn't get it locally so ordered on here where I paid £4 extra but it's worth it for my hair

Read about this on a page for black high porosity hair and had to try it. It definitely helped my hair after using it, I would buy this again
