Clever, pose-able kit
I think this Ninjago lego set is great from a playability perspective. You get six minifigs plus the main larger dragon kit. It wasn't the most challenging or interesting of kits to put together, for me at least, but I can see it is of a good level for younger builders and it offers a lot more playability when built than a normal static set.I did also try the app with this which is very clever and helpful in that it lets you view the build instructions three dimensionally, so its much clearer and easier to see what goes exactly where. It does still come with included instructions which are, on this kit, pretty easy to follow anyway but it is nice to have the option.I think this is a good kid for younger builders and while it does seem a little expensive to me I can see an awful lot of work went into its design.

Highly detailed
This, in my opinion, is the best dragon in the series. It's highly detailed; it has a stud shooter under each wing that stocks 3. It comes with 6 mini-figs, including two exclusive figs, Arin and Tyr. It comes with a side build that Thunderfang is chained to with 2 blade accessories. The instructions were easy to read, and it didn't take too long to build. It looks great displayed on a shelf. I think it's well worth the price.

Fabulous
While this is rated as 8+, it's great fun and still challenging even for older kids. The instructions are clear, and while kids on the younger side will need help with parts, it's overall fairly intuitive. The materials live up to the Lego standard, and feel quite sturdy (although parts of the dragon are a little thin, which made us slightly nervous). Between the alter, chains, shooters, and minifigs, there's a lot of potential for different types of play, but it's also a great one to keep on the shelf, particularly for older kids who just think it looks cool.

Good for Ninjago lego fans
This is a great addition to the LEGO NINJAGO series.Assembly follows the usual LEGO method, with parts divided into numbered bags, which makes the process much easier when following the instructions. The build experience is smooth and enjoyable, and the final result looks fantastic. The quality is exactly what you'd expect from LEGO — solid and well-designed.As with most LEGO sets, the price feels a bit high for what you get. Still, the joy it brings to the child makes it worth it.Overall, a fun and satisfying build for NINJAGO fans. Thanks for reading my review, I hope you found it helpful.XO Sue

Fantastic LEGO Ninjago Set for Young Builders
The LEGO Ninjago Thunder Fang Dragon of Chaos is a brilliant gift for any child aged 8+ who loves building, LEGO, and Ninjago—just like my son. It comes in the usual high-quality LEGO packaging, with no instructions on the box, just stylised images of the Ninjago dragons. With 668 pieces and six minifigures, plus a smaller one, this set offers a great building experience. The design is vibrant and eye-catching, and my son absolutely loved it. I initially thought it might be quite complicated to assemble, but for a child who enjoys building—especially around 10 to 12 years old—it’s very manageable. Younger children may need some assistance, but overall, it’s not the most challenging LEGO set out there. The finished model looks fantastic and is really fun to play with. The quality feels solid and durable, and I’m very happy with it. A highly recommended gift for any young LEGO and Ninjago fan.

Fantastic lego set
This is a cool Ninjago Lego set that is fairly challenging to build and also looks amazing when complete. Whether it's to be used as a toy or just a cool looking model, that's up to you but the design and quality are great, as you usually find with most Lego products.
