Very well done.It is a bit smaller compared to a regular messenger bag but this is the point. It is ideal for going out, subway, around the city, when you go shopping and you need to bring stuff with you. I am a guy and since I was 10 I always refused to carry my wallet in my back pocket.When I go out I need to carry at least wallet, phone, power pack, and some cables. This is a perfect bag for this purpose.It easily fits an Ipad or a notebook A4 size.Look at my pictures for some guidance about the size.Minor comment: I wish it had a shoulder pad for a perfect design. On the other hand, it is unlikely the bag is too heavy to stress the shoulder

This is a small, modern briefcase intended for electronics rather than papers. It will hold a tablet or ultra-book in the 10-11" class in the rear compartment and 8.5x11" papers in the main compartment. It will hold a spiral notebook or file folders if they are not too generous in size. Do not expect it to hold a larger laptop or legal size papers. It also makes an excellent "man bag" for traveling. While not fancy, it has a certain simple elegance in the design and the natural canvas is much nicer than nylon. The many organization pockets are much appreciated. It is very nice to carry but make sure the dimensions meet your needs. Note that it does not have handles. It is strictly a shoulder bag, perhaps better for travel than routine office use. It appears to be very well made for the price.

The canvas is sturdy but gives a little, so that I can really cram into the bag. It's smallish, but I use it often and have come to prefer it to my more standard sized briefcases, as it is easier to carry but convenient for all of the pockets and slots . I'm very happy with it, and would buy another if it were available in true black. I carry my Kindle in a side pocket and a 500 page textbook in the main compartment.

Love the bag! I use it to carry stuff to work and all the pockets allow for keeping everything separate! The only complaint I have is the size is a little too small. I wanted to use it to carry a portfolio. I can make it fit but zipping it is very hard once it’s in and the corners of the bag press the corners of the portfolio to where if it was in the bag long term could affect the look of the leather. Other than that it is perfect!I keep a parking permit, keys, sunglasses, a small book, my cellphone charger, an amazon fire tablet, a pill minder, and other various necessities without it looking swollen.

This thing is awesome! Keeps my son organized. Doesn’t look like a purse. This was the best Christmas gift he got and probably the cheapest!

Hands down the best bag for the money on Amazon for your iPad and other office essentials. I store my iPad, iPhone, multiple wires, folder full of papers, credit cards, business cards, essentially everything, in this bag. It's a durable canvas, but doesn't look like it, it looks more like suede when you see it in person. If you need something that looks smart, is very durable, and carries all of your office stuff, this bag is the right one for you. And the price? Perfect for what you get.

EDIT May 2018:After a lot of year of pretty much daily use carrying my Surface to work and Kindle/tablet/notebook at other times the bottom corners of the bag are wearing through. I’m guessing it won’t make it to two years, but it’s hanging in there for now. Given the price I can’t complain too much though I’ll probably switch to a sturdier laptop briefcase when I replace this.I got this for personal travel when I don't need to carry all my work gear with me. The size is just what I wanted - a Surface Pro 3 just fits in the padded center section if I need it, or an iPad and Moleskine can go there instead.The color is nice. It's a washed black that looks the right amount worn in already. The bag fabric seems pretty sturdy. The strap is quite basic but given the size of the bag, it should do.The front and back pockets provide lots of space for pens, cards, and other random stuff. If you like to carry a water bottle you're out of luck though. The only place it could go is in the main pocket. I was hoping my mini umbrella would fit in the end pocket but it's too big. A micro umbrella might go there though.All said, for the price this bag fits what I wanted.

I love this bag. It holds all of my notebooks for school and my Chromebook, plus my Switch. I wish the strap was a little longer, though, because I'm a pretty tall guy and it's just at my waist when it's fully extended.

For the price, this is a pretty good option. I was disappointed when the zipper started to jam and eventually broke, and the seams began to fray.

Great everyday bag, lots of pockets and options. I did remove the stitching on the outside end to make the pen/pencil pocket bigger. I carry my vape there.

EXCELLENT heavy-canvas-duck satchel bag...would work for a purse (my wife makes fun of me over it...I use it for technical reference books).
