Great value car for entry into drifting. I got it as a birthday gift for my 11 year old nephew and now I bought two more. You can find these on the big Chinese distributor websites for less but then you’re waiting weeks for delivery, and you’re only saving maybe $10-12. If you do purchase from other sites be aware that the “standard” versions are the older models with torsion springs (cheesy little wires) instead of coil over shocks, brass bushings instead of bearings, no rear lights, and no gryoscope. Those may be better for children since they have rubber tires making them easier to control, but no drifting. You can also find plenty of upgrades on those websites like aluminum control arms and knuckles. It’s been a month and apparently it’s still fully working even with a 3 year old sometimes getting a hold of the controller and driving full speed into the walls so it’s quite durable for an rc. Their mom says it’s by far their favorite toy. Drawbacks are the method of adjusting the ride height, the silly little black plastic stoppers on the underside of the a-arms aren’t even similar enough to give even heights side to side. The lights are cool but there is a decent amount of bleed through on the surrounding plastic (not a big deal though). The wipers on every model I’ve received have been nearly impossible to get into the passenger side hole, I think it’s an issue with the plastic mold. Overall it’s a solid rc with tons of potential for fun. Definitely recommend for kids over 10 up to adults into the hobby.

Love it, it’s a fun rc to play with around the house, the kids enjoy driving it and it’s plenty powerful for drifting.

This is a bonafide budget drift car. Gyro works well and it slides well. This is for my son and didn’t want to spend 150 bucks on hobby grade but the cheap awd drift cars with no gyro are very lack luster. This was ready to rip out of the box and can drift properly. Worth the $70 price tag when I bought!

This RC drift car is a blast to drive. The gyro really helps with steering, making drifting into corners smooth and easy. Yup! This thing is worth every cent! Drives like an entry level hobby grade, gyro is as good as the top shelf hobby grade gyros 8 years ago, (theres better stuff now, i might upgrade that) far more scale detail than i couldve imagined. Ive purchased two LD models at this time, the miata drifts just slightly better than the much heavier die-cast porsche 911 body. Both are amazing models. Bodies are easily paintable with proper surface preparation.
