Solid, cheap drop cloths for painting and projects
I picked up these 12 x 9 ft plastic drop cloths and they’ve been really useful for protecting floors, furniture, and surfaces during painting or messy jobs. The size is generous, they’re lightweight, and they lay flat without too much fuss. They’re thin, so they’re not industrial‑grade, but for everyday DIY projects they work exactly as intended and save a ton of cleanup time. If you’re doing paint, drywall work, or even greasy garage tasks, having a few of these makes things a lot easier.

Great drop cloths for painting and home projects
I bought this 6-pack to use while painting and doing some small DIY projects, and it works really well. The size is big enough to cover my floor and furniture, and the plastic is thin but still strong. It doesn’t tear easily and it kept paint, dust, and water off everything. I like that each sheet opens up quickly, so it’s easy to set up. A nice bonus is that the pack comes with gloves. The sheets are also lightweight, so cleanup is simple just roll them up and throw them away after use. Good things: • Big size (12×9 ft) covers a lot of space • Doesn’t tear easily • Waterproof and dustproof • Easy to unfold and use • Great value for a 6-pack • Gloves included Things to know: • They are disposable, so they’re not thick like reusable tarps • Can be a little slippery on tile or hardwood if you walk fast Overall, these drop cloths did exactly what I needed. Great for painting, protecting furniture, or any messy project. I would buy them again.

Garage gym makeover = success (and zero paint on the treadmill!)
I grabbed this 6-pack of plastic drop cloths to paint my garage gym and protect everything from splatter—weights, squat rack, treadmill, all of it. And honestly, they did their job like champs. The plastic is thin but durable—super easy to unfold and tape up, but didn’t rip or tear when I moved equipment around or walked over it. I covered the floor, hung a couple as makeshift curtains over the racks, and still had a few sheets left over. For the price, it’s a no-brainer for DIY projects. ✅ Pros: Big coverage – 12 x 9 ft covers a ton of space Tear-resistant – held up during setup and cleanup Lightweight & foldable – easy to hang or drape over equipment Great value – 6-pack covered my whole garage project No paint leaks – zero mess underneath ⚠️ Cons: Not reusable – too thin to fold up and save (but that’s expected) Slight static cling if you’re working in a dry space 📌 Pro Tip: Tape them down with painter’s tape and let the excess drape—it’ll save you from stepping on sticky corners mid-rollout. If you’re tackling a home project—garage gym, furniture painting, ceiling touch-ups—these are budget-friendly lifesavers. I’ll definitely be keeping an extra pack around for future messes.

Good value with minor caveats
These cloths worked as described. They didn't tear and were easy to clean up. But they are hard to unroll because the plastic likes to cling to itself. I also would advise wearing shoe protectors to avoid tearing the plastic since it's relatively thin.

Does the job if you don't ask too much of it
Good: Cheap. Does the job, if you're careful not to abuse them. Bad: Being only a half-mil thick, their definition of "abuse" is very broad. I sliced one to ribbons dropping some pieces of ceiling plaster along a sheet that was keeping dust out of the rest of the house. Bottom line: A good value, if you're mindful of their limitations. As a dust barrier, they're great. As an actual drop cloth when painting, be very careful. Don't expect to reuse them. Five stars because they perform well enough for a buck and a half each.

Does the job well
Perfect for my needs. A bit faffy unrolling each sheet, but not beyond the wit of man. I have found the material a bit tougher than some of the more negative reviews indicate, with no puncturing on sharp corners or when putting heavier objects on it.

Not the best
They're okay, light and easy to lay out.... the price is alright, but I have problems with them tearing easily. It works kind of but I wouldn't use these anywhere where you absolutely need to protect it from spillage such as a carpet.

Good quality plastic drop cloths for the price
Great plastic drop cloths for the price! They are not super thick, but it works perfectly fine for avoiding the paint from getting on the carpet. It was easy to tape them to the bottom of the wall.
