One of our cars is newer and has blind spot indicators; our other is old and doesn't. I like the indicators to feel safer while driving, but don't want to pay for any upgrades to an old car. I thought these little mirrors would be helpful, kind of like the semitruck mirrors that help them see better. It was pretty easy to install, but one fell when I opened the package and broke the back off. I cam probably use this one still, it just won't be adjustable like the other one. The image in the little mirror is a lot smaller than the main mirror, so I have to adjust my eyes to really see what's in it. I'm not used to that yet and still just turn my head quickly like I've done for years. Next car will have the blind spot indicators.

I had these on my old car so I got these to add to my new car. Once you have these on your side-view mirrors you will find it difficult to drive without them. They offer such a good vantage of the side of your vehicle that you don't even need to turn your head to check. I can see down the lane next to me to help me merge into busy traffic as well. The added adjustment stem on the mirrors helps in the placement and actually makes them better. I tried sticking on on the mirror without the stem and it limited its usefulness. Use the adjusting stem.
