The Voyager Pro is a large size entry in the MVP Backpack Bag Series. Smart design, heavy duty construction, and killer upgrades make this the leading choice for GYROnaut competitors. The Voyager Pro holds 22 discs, has upgraded storage, 2 drink holders, and 2 large side pockets. Upgraded from previous Voyagers are a more rigid frame and improved feet for a comfortable ride. Tourney players need to be prepared for all contingencies and the Voyager Pro Backpack has a space for every one.

Good but could be better
I am very happy with this bag. It has a nice amount of storage at the top, the versatility in adjusting the top putter for putter use is a very nice feature which I use often. The drink holders are placed well as some other bags have them sticking too far out to the sides. These sit a little further back and set into the bag a little. The downside of the drink holder placement is that the side pockets are not as big as they appeared. I thought the pockets would be the same size as the side profile of the bag, but this was not the case. Where the drink holders are placed, this is where the side pockets end which gives them more of a hook shape. Additionally, the video released by MVP says the side pockets are expandable which these are not. The other disappointment I noticed was a lack of a pencil holder I did find that I can fit a sharpie or mechanical pencil in the loops on the umbrella/seat strap, however a pencil will fall straight through. Most other backpack bags seem to have one or two. The main compartment is quite rigid with the flap velcroing up out of the way very nicely. I'm still debating if I want to use the dividers this bag came with as they do not seem to be constructed very precise. It seems that even when placing them as far down as they'll go, some of the Velcro sticks out the top and brushes up against the discs or your hands. Lastly, the backpack is very comfortable and sturdy. I have taken this out for a few rounds now and find that when it's on my back it does not rub anywhere that causes discomfort, and the padding feels sufficient. When I place it on the ground, I have yet to see this tip over, even on moderate hills. Overall, I intend on using this regularly as the lack of pencil holders is not a big deal, and there is still more than enough storage space for me.

This holds everything an advanced amature needs.
I’ve been using a Revolution bag for, well, I’ve had the bag since it first came out. It hasn’t worn out, but I wanted something that was more of a backpack bag than a messenger bag. I carry approximately 18 discs and a single putter. There are a lot of bags to choose from, which is far different when I started playing. There were two other bags that made the cut, but I really didn’t want to spend 225 on a disc golf bag, and the other was reported to be somewhat top heavy. My main course has a lot of elevation changes, rather steep ones at times, so that ruled out the other contender.I have only one other bag with which to compare - the original Revolution. So, here goes.I purchased the white bag [insert grimace] as it looked pretty cool. Once it got here, it received a coating of Scotchguard to assist with cleaning. I do expect the white to get dirty, almost as a testament to good use :)The nylon isn’t as robust as the Revolution. I really didn’t expect it to be, honestly. It *is* good nylon, and it sports layers of different types of nylon, which should aid in something...perhaps keeping moisture out? There are sturdy plastic feet on the bottom, which is going to help with wear. Because it is a backpack, it does seem marginally finicky about standing, but it didn’t fall over, at all, during the initial run. The course I play has holes with enough incline to make my lower Revolution bag roll, so I was a bit worried that I’d be chasing discs, but it was all good. Two drink holders. Man, that is awesome. I don’t need to make a trip back to the car for an additional round. It holds an oversized 42 ounce bottle with no issues. The storage is almost to much. I like to take things with, like protein bars, map, and have room for personal items. I could easily triple how much I normally take and not stress about room. The top putter holder does indeed hold two with no issue. I carry a pliable and a firm, both slide right in and when removing one, it doesn’t snag the other and pull it out along with.It allows approximately 21 discs for me. 2 Rocs, 6 drivers, 7 fairway drivers/approach, and assorted specialty discs for when it gets weird. There’s enough room to stow my oldschool Reaper, Talon, and Preditor for when I need a reminder of how much I like my current setup. The things that need improvement: a better way to attach a towel to the outside. I have a standard golf towel that has a hole in the center. On the Revolution, I undid one of the connections for the shoulder strap and looped it through. I *never* lost my towel due to a broken carabiner...it would be nice to have quick release clips for the ties on the side used to secure a chair or a disc gator. The physical mechanics are a bit different, of course. I have to move the backpack all the way off before getting a putter or any other disc. With the messenger bag style of the Revolution, selection was a bit easier as the discs were accessible to my left hand while walking to the next throw.None of these things are in any way a deal breaker. The amount of lower and mid lower back pain that my old-man body experienced after the first round with this makes up the difference in inconvenience, by far.I’ll keep an eye on how well it wears and update, later. I’m not rough with my gear, but the thinner nylon makes me a little nervous.I don’t carry a seat or disc gator, so I have no idea how those will work with this bag.

Compact bag with lots of space
This is the 3rd backpack disc golf bag I've tried and it is the best one for the price. Compared to the MVP Voyager, the pro is much better. Do not get the Voyager over the Pro. The Voyager has its bottom supports to far forward so they rub your back and make it very uncomfortable to carry. The Voyager Pro has the same disc carrying capacity and bigger side pockets and more compact. Great bag!

Poor craftsmanship!
Zippers are cheap, main straps are extremely thin. It feels off balance from shoulder to hand strap and vice versa. However, disc compartment holds discs perfectly. Upper putter compartment is ideal for flower friendly work, and ease of access to putter 1&2 is prime. The bag would almost be perfect but for the cut rate zippers and the second rate main straps for longevity. For being a pro bag setup, would've liked some attention to the details.

Ripped apart at the seams!
Really liked this bag at first. After using it only a handful of times the top storage compartment has ripped. Will never buy MVP again.

Fabric torn, possibly manufactures defect.
First trip out of the house, I made it to the airport and noticed a gaping home in the top. Cheap nylon next to the zippers. Very disappointed.
