I have hated running most of my life and avoided it for ...
I have hated running most of my life and avoided it for years due to the pain I would feel in my knees and heel. Knowing the mechanics of running, i still never found a shoe that worked well enough to convince me to get back "in step". I recently took on the challenge of preparing for SealFit Crossfit training and found these were highly recommended by many members within the SOF community. These are intended for short runs, not marathons so don't get these if you're preparing for a marathon. These are not trail shoes, get dedicated trail shoes. These have proven to be comfortable and extremely reliable for me in my workouts and running regiments. I'm not a small guy: 6' 1", 220lb, linebacker basically. These shoes work perfect for me. They're light, they stick to the road, the breathe, and they provide me with excellent mid-foot and toe support to remind me to run on my mid foot to toe not heel to toe. They grip asphalt and sidewalks with excellent reliability and traction. I've ran through mud, sand, water, and whatever the heck else the construction guys spilled out onto the road. These are excellent cross trainers. If they're designed and marketed for SOF wear and tear in training and conditioning, no doubt they'll hold up to whatever you throw at them.My only issue was I did get a blister on my Achilles from the back, it was due to the way I was running. Easy fix, don't wear bottom socks and get some 2nd skin patches to cover till healed, keep running.I highly recommend these shoes and am very impressed with their performance and reliability.

1st Impression
Wow! looks, comfort, and sizing were spot on. A very light weight shoe, and it appears that the break in period required by most training shoes doesn't apply here, in my case. I'm very happy with my purchase, but now to put it to the test injunction with my vigorous training program consisting of 2-3 mile runs, and plenty of lower body movements and exercises. I will update after this round of testing, and could very well be the go to shoe for all occasions, not to mention bumping it up from 4 stars to a solid 5...

Nice style and concept
The shoes are great looking and fit the style that I preferred for the shoe type I was looking for. They are comfortable to wear and fit well. I have flat wide feet so ensure that you go up at least one size; they aren't real wide but do work well.

Excellent all purpose work-out shoes
Excellent all purpose work-out shoes. More comfortable and stable than my Nike's (my previous go-to brand) - allow for varied exercises on a bunch of different surfaces - road, beach, rocks, trails, etc.

Like a glove
A little snug initially but they broke in perfectly and are the greatest shoes I've ever worn. I am slightly flat and wide to and the Grinders fit like a glove. They fit my life style perfectly and I never plan on buying a different brand of shoe to fulfill the purpose of them. Highly recommend.

WELL BUILT, LOW TOE BOX
Seem well made. Very lightweight. I ordered 1 size up as recommended, so they are long enough, however the toe box is very low. (Photos attached). Wish they fit my feet as they seem to great shoes. Returning.
