The stitching has come loose on the brown pair and horrible to walk in for 8 hours plus a day
I purchased these boots for work purposes and once received they are awful. The stitching has come loose on the brown pair and horrible to walk in for 8 hours plus a day. The black ones for my brother were also horrible. The sole on the black ones came loose and cracked so we had to get rid of them. I contacted amazon and they will not do anything about the fact I have spent good money on boots that can’t be used. Awful product and customer service.

These aren't Combat Boots
First off the size 10 is a joke because they are about an 8 1/2 at best. The photo is not the boot you get it looks nothing like it. The upper part of the boot actually folds over and is only about 4 1/2 inches height about like a high top basketball sneaker. I don't know where they get their information but there is no special forces training anything that would even get close to these things. This is what I get for trying to find a cheap pair of boots for working in. Not to mention they say on the attachment that they are being test for quality for the soles staying attached. Are we supposed to be quality control or testers and if so then the items should be free or extremely discounted. This was a waste of time and am returning immediately. Buyer beware, just pay the $200 and get a real pair!

Tan approved for AF OCP until June 2020 but
I got the tan. Def a desert tan color, not the spice brown or coyote brown that will be required to wear for all Air Force OCPs after June 2020. But per AFI 36-2903, I have until June 2020 to wear these desert tan ones so that works. I like them. Lightweight, has a bit of a harder toe (but doesnt cover the entire toe region as required for industrial areas, keep in mind). I am female, wear a womens size 9 in boot (to account for thick socks) and I ordered the 7.5, fits great with it being slightly wider in toe area. The upper material around the calf and ankle is lightweight and comfy so I def wont have to break these in too long. Could be a good or bad thing. So far so good! Basically I bought these to buy me time to get the coyote brown-and better quality-boots. These will work for light piddling around, for sure, just not heavy stuff.

Weak material were the foot bends
I bought these for work and was super happy with the fit. I would only wear them once or twice a month. But two weeks into having them I noticed a rip starting on the left boot where my foot bends. The whole just keeps getting bigger. Super disappointed

Best bang for your buck. Read the review.
Regardless to the other posts, these boots have been AMAZING. I wear them every day. I bought the desert version since I can wear them in my OCPs. They are stupid comfortable. I just went hiking in the mountains and performed phenomenally. I got them several months ago and they still hold up. No tips or tears. I have Nike, Oakley and other brand boots, but these are amazing. I would definitely recommend them and they fit exactly to whatever boot size you wear (Not shoe size and they are not steel or composite toe). I also have the black leather ones as well. They are not as comfortable as the suede ones (desert and tan). I've also seen that the black ones dont hold up as well. They are however still extremely comfortable. The suede ones feel good and do not rub the back of the heel and is nice and tight all the way around the top of the boot down to the ankle. The black ones however tend to rub the back of the heel. These boots are by far the best I've ever purchased and I will still purchase another pair. Typically I don't write reviews but for these boots I will. I usually read comments and I think it's either robots spamming random comments or people asking questions about the product that's already stated. So I believe I gave a pretty good review on the product for those interested. And yes the Tan ones are pretty close to the 499 Tan for OCP. No they are not composite toe or steel toe. Happy shopping.

very poor quality
I bought these boots Oct. 12, 2018. I am 76 years old. How rough can I treat them? The have wear holes in each boot and the sole has separated on one. Do not waste your money on this product.

Great light weight boots
I wear a 9.5 in Nike and Puma, 10 in Adidas and bought the 9.5. They fit perfect!

Good enough
I'll start with the bad about this boot. This is not a combat infantry boot. It's not even a tactical boot. There is minimal ankle support and the sole seems a bit soft. It is more like a sneaker with a shaft than a combat infantry boot which, IMHO should support your ankle and have a good solid/firm sole for harsh terrain. The good? The material and stitching seems pretty solid. The suede seems of good quality and supple. The fabric feels like 500d and the shaft collar cushion is very soft. It is very light and I expect that it will breathe well. For the price I find it a good value as long as one realizes this is not likely to be a hard use boot for rucking a 120+ lb ruck but it is airy and comfortable.
