maybe it is old fashion but when there is no abrasion and you need action at the beginning of an infection: it never fails. I do not know for how many decades I have used it and my father before me.

I really liked this product. I purchased it to see if my body needed iodine. I put a few layers of iodine on the inner part of my thigh at night time(what I mean by layers is that i put one layer let it dry put another layer let it dry and did that about four times). If you wake up in the morning and you can still see the iodine on the inner part of your thigh that means you do not need iodine in your body. If there is no sign of the iodine being there then your body absorbed it and you need iodine. Mine was still there in the morning. So my results told me that my body did not need any added iodine in it.

Hard to find item in such small bottle from pharmacies. But Amazon has it. Thanks.

The lid on the bottle was loose and half of the Iodine was lost.

I was told this product was no longer available or in circulation. I like to keep a first kit and box with the basics in it and then a few extras such as this. I'm glad I found it. I remember it being used when I was a little girl. I recall family members talking about it.
