Great wrench for extra large oil filters

Needed this for an older pool filter lid. Took some maneuvering, but it worked perfectly on that thin, very small surface to grab a hold of. BOOM!!!

This is a pretty standard strap wrench: nothing bad about it, but it doesn't necessarily stand out either. The strap itself is a well made nylon webbing, and the handle is aluminum. Since it's not polished or painted it feels a bit rough, but that might be a good thing in the long run (I'm thinking grip despite oily or greasy hands). It's not small, so this might not be the best for removing oil filters, depending on the vehicle, but IMHO it's a good middle size. It's got the leverage for most demanding tasks but isn't too big for most tasks either. I'm happy with it.

I gave this a 5 star due to its use on big pipes, or even diesel trucks, but it's not for regular cars or small oil changing jobs, or where room is an issue.I purchased the Lasnten 16 Inch Handle Nylon Strap Wrench Adjustable Oil Filter Anti Sliding Strap Pipe Wrench expecting it to work for changing oil filters on my car and riding mower. Unfortunately, it's much larger than anticipated and not ideal for those tasks, as it's challenging to maneuver under the hood or around smaller equipment. However, this wrench would be perfect for larger jobs, such as handling huge pipes or sewage work, where space isn't an issue. Overall, great for big applications, but definitely oversized for typical automotive or lawn equipment oil filter changes.
