Not what I thought it would be...battery did't last little over 1 hour

The app doesn't work with it...Do not buy if you need to use the app/ wifi streaming

Works well. The wifi is nice with and gear pro app on iphone.

This is a terrible piece of equipment. Purchased to test it for several possible applications and it will not work for anything I was hoping it would.First, I hoped that I would be able to set it up as a "live" camera to feed a video signal to a TV. But the camera is not able to output live video over HDMI, only play previously recorded video.Second, I hoped to use it as an inexpensive dashcam--a feature that this supposedly supports. The battery did not last long enough to run a few errands around town (about 45 minutes of driving), even though I turned it off at each stop. On top of that, it saves the video in segments of only a few minutes, which makes it a pain in the @$$ to go back through and review the video.Unfortunately, I lost track of time and did not request a return before my return period ended, so I guess I'm out $40

The camera works perfect attached to my Syma X8C quadcopter. The video is fantastic. The downside is the the battery does not last long Also, the phone app is sort of clitchy.[...]

You need a magnifying glass to read manual, full charge battery reads 25%, wifi connection drops after 10-15minutes of recording (seemingly due to low battery, since full charge reads as about 25%. Camera will continue to record after wifi drops, just no way to see what's being recorded since there is no screen. Video records and playback upside down. videos are broken up into smaller files (requires editing to make one video from all files. Wifi continues to drop, even when power adaptor is connected. Support website sucks (no instructions, manuals or additional information, only options to buy products, if you are checking outside the 9-5 business hours, no mention if 9-5 is eastern, central or mountain). I do not recommend this product and most likely will be seeking refund

The media could not be loaded.  Amazon review video does not upload at 1080p so this video lost most of its resolution. My flying skills are not that great but the video image taken by the Gear Pro Activ is just amazing. High Definition HD 1080p the grass is green , the sun is bright and you can see the beautiful city sky line in the back ground! It has an amazingly simple Wi-Fi phone app that allows you to connect your Apple or Android phone, then you can control the camera remotely with the app. You can also see everything that the camera is viewing on your phone! I will let the video speak for itself.

This is a huge piece of crap! Unfortunately we discovered that it truly sucks as much as others in reviews say after the return date. Even fully charged, when you turn it on, it stays on about 5 seconds and then shuts off. Definitely will question whether I buy electronics from Amazon again with such a short return window. And to think I bought a no spill/drop policy on it too. After shopping at Amazon for as long as they've been around, this is the first time I've been so disappointed in a product and Amazon itself.
