Go Anywhere Table and Footrest

We have been purchasing these tables for years. The tables are better than we've found elsewhere and provide the kids a great table to place their drinks, their food, books, etc. We are fortunate, however, that we can afford to replace these when they fail, which is frequent. We have two minivans and have two of them in each car for our 8 and 6 year old. If you have children who lock and unlock the table (you need to raise and lower as the kids get in and out of their seats), they will not be gentle enough to assure they remain usable for long periods of time (6-12 months). The locking mechanism are made of VERY SMALL interlocking PLASTIC teeth. If these teeth were metal, this would be the best table hands down. I would pay an extra $20-$30 for the better design. I might have resisted the first time at the steep price; however, now that we have used them and replaced them as much as we have, I recognize their great utility, yet also know how badly the locking mechanism is engineered. BOTTOM LINE: if you have younger kids and you will be the one locking and unlocking the table in place, then it should last a while. However, once your kids are able to get in and out of their own seats (booster seat age), they will most likely lock and unlock on their own and not be careful enough for the tables to last longer than 6-12 months). We have tried other options, but none are as good as these, despite the flaw in this locking mechanism. If we had a tighter budget, I would be much more unhappy. Hope this review helps.

i purchased this item because my 4 yr old kept complaining that her feet were goin to sleep on long drives, this item helps alot. the only problem i have with it is now every time we get in or out i have to hook her all up it is just a little time consuming but other than that it is greeat.

This is well constructed and sturdy. It's very adjustable, so it works lots of ways. And the tray table slides easily out of the foot rest. I only have two complaints. #1, the foot rest doesn't attach to anything, it just sits under the car seat, so it always wants to slide out or the car seat slides around on top of it. I sandwich it between a bath towel to keep it from sliding around. #2, the foot rest part always slides down. The way it is supposed to stay put is with downward pressure from the child's foot. But children move around a lot, obviously, and whenever my son lifts his feet up, the foot rest slides down so his feet no longer reach it.Also, I'm curious as to the safety of this. I wonder what would happen if I had an accident while using this tray table. I wish there was information on that.

I ordered two and table broke off of both. Also, the piece does not lock in place when trying to keep it in a certain position(which it is supposed to). Very bad quality.

This tray is very sturdy due to the solid support bar design. My 2 year old loves it, and its very handy for snacks or coloring during longer rides. His legs aren't long enough for the foot rest yet, even at the shortest setting, but it should be useful soon. The table/support bar remove easily from the base when not in use. I use this with the Graco Nautalius which has good arm rests for the tray to sit on, but it should work well without the arm rests too. I have not tried the other attachements yet (table clamp and ground spike. My only complaint is the price. All the pieces are plastic, though well made. After shipping, I paid almost $80, which seems more than a little steep. Otherwise, I'd give it 5 stars.

We bought this table/footrest combo in anticipation of a long trip with a toddler. However, the tray wobbled badly, and the footrest dropped to the lowest position when the smallest force was placed on it; I don't know if that was a defect in the one we received or if they're all that way, but I certainly don't see how it would be of any use as a footrest. It certainly wasn't worth the $50 plus $10 shipping for such poor constuction. Given that it cost ~$12 shipping (shipping both ways is nonrefundable) to return it, I'm out $22 and a lot of frustration.

This is the best travel companion for children. My daughter no longer has to worry about tipping a tray or balancing it on her lap. We have had fewer spills and she likes that it is hard/sturdy enough for her to color on. The tray is very easy to clean too!Everyone that has seen the foot rest has asked where I got my car seat. I have told at least 10 people that it isn't the car seat it is a separate piece that you can buy and make any car seat more comfortable with the foot rest.I would recommend this product to anyone with a child sitting forward facing in a car seat.

Hard to manage. Husband won't let us use it any more. We may try it again if I can find where my husband has hidden it.
