Sturdy product that is well made. It was very easy to put together - only took about 5 minutes from unboxing, and it is a well made product that is relatively lightweight, so is easy to move around. In terms of height, it is about waist high on the average adult. I have it set up on a 3-season porch and love it, though it can also be used outdoors as there it hasn't rusted. Also easy to store in the basement during the winter months as it breaks down easily into pieces. It looks great!

The best way to choose your hammock stand is to decide where you are going to use it and then what kind of vibe you want to creat with it. I want to set up a hammock stand in my backyard and get myself and my kids a new favorite spot for reading books, spending time together, and de-stressing after work. This metal portable hammock stand is bigger than it appears. Takes up more space and has to be firmly on a flat surface, but very secure and stable. It is made of the rugged steel tubing that is powder coated for protections and look. Due to its strong construction and durable finish, metal hammock stand is ideal for outdoor use. It can support two kids at the same time without breaking. It is not that heavy, making it perfect to transport and use while camping. Also I can find a variety of sizes of hammock to fit for the stand. It doesn’t have many accessories compared to most outdoor gears that you may use on your trips to the countryside. Portable hammock stand may not be as good for traveling light , nevertheless still be very handy. The main advantage of hammock stand is a simple and plain look. It is not as elegant as wooden hammock stand, but remember that you are less likely to get mildew or termites and the whole construction will be a little lighter and probably affordable. The disadvantage is that you might be facing is the protective paint that can peel off and if you don’t protect it. Choosing this hammock stand , I have a spot for it in my mind. Overall this hammock stand fits my budget and my families really enjoy it.

It should function well for what I need, but quality control needs to improve. There were similar issues as in previous reviews: missing parts (end cap for one foot is missing, so I'll have to duct tape it for now to protect it as it'll be outside soon), chipped paint on both elbow joints and along a bar (where it will rust if not touched up), rust already on the new product at the ends of the elbow bars and all through the inside of one, and no instructions on how to assemble it (there is a list of parts, but no actual instructions). One review mentioned that the hook bolts were too long and rub on the hammock; it would be great to have some rubber caps for these so it won't wear holes in the hammock over time. Otherwise, it was easy enough for me to assemble intuitively, the bag was in good shape (other reviews showed holes or tears in the bag) each of my hammocks fit perfectly on it, it feels very stable, and it should be great to take on a road trip for camping. I even tried adding my mummy bag around it (so as not to smash the insulation inside the hammock) and it was pretty cozy!

I love spending time out in my hammock. Sadly, when I moved to my current house, there were no trees to string it up with. I contemplated putting posts in my yard, but after pricing out the material, I realized it would be just as cost-effective to buy a basic hammock stand. I have to say I am pleased with the Amazon Basics hammock stand. It was super easy to set up, and it feels very sturdy. I current have my ENO Single Nest set up, and it fits perfectly on the shortest adjustment, but the stand also has several additional places you can adjust the hooks to which would accommodate longer hammocks. The stand holds the hammock at the perfect hang make it comfortable to get into. Having used it now for a week, it feels solid, and I have no qualms about using it long term. Add in the fact that you can break it down relatively easy, and this is a huge winner. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stand for their hammock.

Easy to assemble, sturdy and light. I purchased this for my back deck but it has been in my living room because my son uses it every day as he loves how vomfortable it is. I have wood floors and the base has not made any scratches.

It's OK. Definitely measure your hammock. I figured they were all reasonably similar sized. This one is a bit short for my cheap hammock. I had to do some fancy finnegeling to make it work.

definitely worth the purchase!! my husband and i got this 2-person 9 foot “Hamuhk” brand hammock as a christmas gift. we decided to set it up in our house so we can enjoy it year round! the box did show up damaged, so i was instantly skeptical. i think it just had a bumpy ride getting here. everything checked out and wasn’t damaged. the stand was super simple to put together and is very strong! it can even hold my husband and i comfortably (we weigh at least 350lbs combined). i recommend!

I’m updating this review after a few months. The screw hooks are dangerous! I have flipped them around so the hook is on the inside, keeping the bolt end from facing up. You will see what I mean when you assemble it. Still a good hammock stand, but watch out for the bolts. Original review: I assembled it in 5 minutes with 2 9-year old girls asking if it was ready yet. It’s easy. It is pretty sturdy and feels stable. The adjustable mounts fit multiple types of hammocks. Only thing to complain about is the thumb screws are dangerously close to your head if you use the lowest mounts and have a long hammock.

I have an older rope hammock with spreader bars that used to hang between two trees. I wanted a frame that I could put in different places in my yard. This was exactly what I was looking for. The frame is very robust and only flexes a little under load (I’m 190 lb). It assembles easily and is light enough for two of us to maneuver it around. Others have mentioned that the pipes fit together tightly and the paint gets damaged when you assemble it. I feel that it is a small trade-off for a stable frame. The design can accommodate pretty well any size of hammock. Mine is a single-person 7’ long. One unexpected bonus was the extra locking bolt and plastic cap. Not sure I will ever need them but someone added them “just in case”. Thanks!

Perfecta para distintas hamacas. La estructura es muy resistente. Se puede regular la altura y es muy fácil de montar y desmontar.

Facile a installer et qui tient la route! Une fois qu'on a bien compris comment installer son hamac on est bien! Ya de quoi s'adapter à la taille!

Está muy bien, es fácil de quitar y de poner, la amaca la amarre al arco , no a los ganchos que trae , por qué obvio no aguantaria de ahí. Quedó muy bien. También para poner la amaca, tiene que estar lo más restirada posible, así cuando uno se suba quede perfecto el nivel de altura. También por los materiales no creo aguante dos personas y tampoco sé puede meser de lado a lado mucho ya que tiene partes que se mueven , y podrían llegar a desgastarse rápido y doblarse , si se puede uno meser pero muy leve .
