Leisure Time chemicals are great and very user friendly. Just add in small doses and measure water after each dosing. A little goes a long way.

It works quickly to resolve discrepancies in the PH. We bought the PH Up and the PH down depending what the litmus paper says. This product was recommended by the Calspa manufacturer of our swim spa

I usually pick up my hot tub chemicals from Arctic Spa or Beachcomber, but I decided to try ordering them online and I am extremely pleased! This product arrived in under a week. This is a 2.5 pound product. Since you measure the product using ounces - this jug is 40 ounces! Each 500 gallons of water requires 1/4 ounce of product (wow...my tub is 264 gallons, or 1000L) This means that one portion for me is 1/8 ounce...so this bottle is good for over 300 portions! For $16 that is a fantastic value. The bottle is sturdy and non-transparent. It has a twist off lid that feels sturdy and durable. It also has a "child-safe" cap (LOVE!) I wish that it came with something to help you measure it out with. Fortunately I had a little scoop from a previous purchase and I use that to measure. The directions on amazon tell you that you can dissolve this product in a little bit of water before adding it to your spa, but the bottle tells you CLEARLY not to do this...so I did not try that option. I add it directly to the water and turn the jets on for 30 minutes, just like it tells me to. When I come back 30 minutes later I see no signs of it and the pH is always lower so it obviously dissolves just fine! At most I have used two portions of this product at one time and then was satisfied with my pH drop. My water is awful and extremely basic so I do have to keep up with this product, I use it a couple of times per week. This product works! Great product, nice easy-and-safe-to-store package, great price, delivered right to your door. Hope my breakdown helped you understand how big this bottle is - I'm not a visual person so I had a hard time visualizing it before it arrived and I was very very pleased with the pack size. I would recommend this product.
