Made to use with left hand
The handle would be ergonomic if I were left-handed, but I'm not. So when I use it in my right hand the grip will be backward and uncomfortable. Strange the manufacturer didn't think of that or state it's for left-handed people. Otherwise, it appears to be a good tool.

Pretty Good
I like this more than I expected. I actually would like it better if it had NO sharp edges because I am really afraid of accidentally cutting myself. It's really sharp. I'm afraid I might pull it out backwards or grab it by the wrong edge, which with most tools would not be a problem, but with this one you could do real damage to yourself.I am using it for two projects: pulling up individual weeds in my mulched beds and getting weeds and grass out of the cracks between my pavers. In both cases I am primarily using this as hook, putting it in the dirt or crack on the far side of the weed, and sort of pulling it towards me. It is very good at loosening the weed including its roots. But of course you then need to grab the weed with your hand and that sharp edge is facing right at you.It is rare that I would need the sharp edge as I am all about getting the complete root out of the ground. You would not want the inside edge of the "hook" to be sharp because then you would never get any roots out, it would just cut them.Sometimes when pulling weeds out of the mulch beds, after hooking and loosening the root, I also turn this thing on its side to get a little more heft, a broader surface for lifting roots. I am mostly tacking low-to-the-ground weeds that don't have too deep root systems and this gadget is easier than my old method of loosening with a trowel.I am right handed and did not find the handle to be oriented wrong. It just seemed fine and did not draw my attention.

blade installed in wrong direction
Comfortable handle, but the blade goes towards the side when holding handle properly! Ours would weed at 3 o'clock rather than 6 o'clock, which would be the proper down position. Based on other reviews, I'm thinking that wherever this is assembled, it's random whether the customer gets the blade positioned in the correct way - maybe 25% of the time? Therefore, DO NOT BUY this product. We continue to use, but in a NON-ergonomic way; didn't want to put it in the landfill. We had a cheaper ($9.95 paving weeder though less sharp) tool from the Kinsman Company once - that I should have ordered from them again but was once again wooed by free shipping from Amazon.

It's sharpened on the wrong side.
I feel like this was a waste of money. I didn't know that it would be the outside angle that was sharpened. I can't understand why these are made like this. If the inside angle was sharp it would be a fantastic tool. If something is made this weird it should come with written instructions because I can't figure out how it is supposed to work. I bought it to clean between bricks but I just went back to my 32 year old Cape Cod Weeder. I know that won't fail me.

Had to get a garden scooter to really use this.
Lot more work the I was expecting. Don't know of anything that would work better though. Already used a pressure washer on my pavers and that took care of the little weeds, It's the big grass like stuff that doesn't come out. So I got this thing. After a lot of hacking and ripping and pulling was able to clear some out. But without a garden scooter this would be horrible. It's going to take a while, got a lot of pavers, but this will get it done. Once it's all done this will certainly help with the upkeep. It's getting rid of the original 2 years of neglect that's going to take a while. But again not sure there is a better tool for the job. Don't think that thing with wheels you attach to a pole would work for me.

Not between bricks!
The blade on this took is too thick by about 40% to go between bricks in a brick patio.

BEST TOOL FOR MY PURPOSE
I have a driveway that the contractor for some reason made a cut halfway all across about 1/4” wide. I believe that it works like an expansion so concrete won’t crack with the heat. It was and still is a great idea until grass and some weeds found it. Since that moment I have been at war with them. I have used anything that fits that space but never had the proper leverage to pull the weeds out. This tool is doing the job; very happy with it.

NOT a left handed tool.
One reason I bought this is because people said it was for left-handers. Well, a right handed person might think so, but I don't. I agree that some little design changes might help, but if you are left-handed and are looking for such a tool, this is not it. The handle grip is clearly designed for right-handed use. It's still a usable tool.

ALMOST PERFECT TOOL
If they turned the handle around 45 degrees to the left so that the grip is actually how you would hold the tool while actually using it and it would be perfect.A small manufacturing adjustment would be all it would take. Unfortunately the handle the way it is now, is totally in the wrong position for use.

How did i not find this earlier!
My patio has always been a pain with weeds growing in between the cracks. It used to be a long winded affair to get them out. Used this tool last night, it was brilliant, cut the weeds at the base and then raked out the earth from between the slabs. such a useful tool. Very pleased

Fab.
Robust, easy to use, has a blade on it for slicing through vegetation too. Fits between the slabs fine, although our slabs are very close together so sometimes we need to use an improvised hacksaw blade too :)

Easy to use tool but poor quality steel
I bought this tool to clear the gaps around my block paving drive/path. On the day it arrived I thought I would put it to the test. I cleared about 2 square metres of block paving in 30 minutes and was impressed with the functionality of this tool. But when I cleaned it I noticed the wear to the blade and I thought this is not going to last me very long and I have returned it.

STURDY LOOKING THING.
It looks quite sturdy and well made, and I hope it will do the job my older one does.My only criticism is that I bought this because my other one is just a short trowel sized thing. I thought that this would be longer, but it is only about a foot long, so it's bending over again for this old broad!
