Zipcase Laundry Hook: Let the Air Circulate to Dry the Washer Keep the Washer Fresh No More Bad Smell

Had low expectations of this item. Proven wrong. Strong magnet adheres well to body of washing machine. Good quality spring with enough give to allow door to gape open sufficiently for air circulation. The only improvent could be to the hook end. Just slim bare metal. Some reinforcement could help. But very functional for what it is. If you have a large laundry room with the luxury of leaving the door fully flungopen to the side - you do not need this. But, my space is tight. The appliance door opens onto a pocket door pathway and so I am very happy. No more begging family members to remember - they see the spring and automatically use it.

Love this thing - it holds the washer door open, but in our narrow laundry room / passageway to the garage, it keep the door open too much ! Easy fix - we simply moved the magnet over onto the adjacent dryer and now it is a bit of a tighter pull and the washer door is only open a few inches. Love that the magnet is very strong and it has some sort of plastic coating so as to not scratch the paint on the washer / dryer.

The product functions very poorly. The very long hanging awkward arm collapses very easily and the door will just keep closing on itself. even if you do get it to work with the slightest bump it will close on itself. I don't think you want to spend thousands on your washer to put such an unsightly product on them that either. There are better products on the market that deal with this, I think the Holdy Moldy is the best one on the market by far and would recommend it. You can order directly on their site now but heard that it will be on amazon shortly as well if not already on here.

We bought this last Oct and it worked well. Not as sleek as others but functional. Unfortunately the hook that attaches the spring to the magnet must have loosened over time. We couldn't find the spring, and since our washer and dryer are in a very tight corner, it would be difficult to move them. To the seller, can we get a replacement hook and spring? Perhaps we should have been told to tighten the hook from the start.

I’m so glad I got this for my new front load washer. I read the reviews just like others who are looking to get the bang for their buck. I settle for this. So simple to use!!! My washer door springs open so this helps keep it open after washes. I’ve included two pics to help those decide if this is for you. The pics show how I hook it onto my washer door. I would recommend for anyone with a front load washer. Just another note too, the tip of the spring which hooks to the washer door is protected by a plastic covering to prevent damage to the washer door. I thought that was cool. This is perfect for the case where you want to keep the washer door open for mold prevention. My door hits the wall so using this is great! Magnet sticks well and holds the door open at a good distance. I use it all the time!

The problem with this is keeping it hooked to the door. Magnet is very strong and keeps in place. I gave it 3 * because the "hook" coming off at the slightest breeze.

Tried so many of these to hold washer door ajar so it can dry out. The kids broke every one, except this one! Easy to use, effective.

This laundry hook does exactly what it's designed to do and holds your washer door ajar to allow it to air out. The only reason I deducted one star was because I find the clip rather challenging to open.
