Great price. Looks very nice, works well. Weld was pretty cheap though and had separated when taking out of box. Was able to repair here so didn't have to repair.

I've now been using this hood on my outdoor grill for a little over a year and have had absolutely zero problems with it. The installation went very well and I vented it to the outside by installing ducting and power through my attic with nothing exposed.The intake is powerful enough to take the smoke from my 30" wide DCF built in grill as long as it isn't a ton of air movement in the patio. However, this might have also been helped by installing the hood slightly lower than I did which was about 18" above the top of the grill. I do find that it can't quite keep up with the flow if I am cooking something that creates and inordinate amount of smoke and flames, however, this does not occur on any sort of regular basis. The lighting provides adequate visibility on the grill for cooking after dark even without any other lights turned on.After a year of regular use (2-4 times per week) I can't say that this hood has done anything but live up to my expectations. I would certainly consider recommending it to anyone else who is looking for using it in a similar application. I would note though that my installation was done inside of a screened porch where there is no direct exposure to the weather with the exception of some late evening sun and Florida's moist and salty air, neither of which have affected the finish to this point.

Did a lot of research, found this to be the cheapest one rated for outdoor use that had any kind of features and looks, seamless welded edges, etc. Got it, looked great, plugged it in to make sure it worked, then installed it. Electrician hooked it up and IT DIDN'T WORK! Electrician said they thought it was a bad control unit. I was VERY worried about not getting any service because it is sold by Amazon and clearly they won't be any help with getting parts and I did NOT want to tear it off the wall and ship this huge unit back to get a replacement. It took some doing but I finally found the web site of the manufacturer and gave them a call. They immediately shipped me not only the control unit but another part that they said might be the problem, no questions asked. Turned out that it wasn't even a bad part, but a bad electrician who knocked a small plug off its post when he was hooking up the unit. Great company, would buy their stuff again! (See my separate post about the bad design of the extended chimney for this unit. Not sure if it's actually made by the same company though...)

Replaced the motors in first 2 weeks - second set sent in and had to install myself. The fail to start or stay running most of the time. Not a good unit or design.24 months - unit not working and a total replace is required - would not buy another product from this company.

Received Hood yesterday. Shiiping was quick, and very well packaged. Item arrived in excellent condition. My only compaint is that the product listsing "Z Line 36" Wall Mount OUTDOOR BBQ Range Hood Stainless 1200 CFM **Professional Series**" Doesnt match the product description further down on the page. I have contacted Amazon and they are supposed to be getting me an answer what we will have to do. Beware that this hood is not 48" wide like the description says and it also only has 2 lights, not 4 as in the description. I will give an uptate as soon as I get one.Update ****Spoke with Z Line today and while they didn't give me any credit for the issue, they made sure I did get the $100.00 promotion that was owed to me per a promotion they had going on.

I love this vent hood!! I checked out many hoods at the store, and they were expensive. I have a stove that required a hood with at least 1000cfm due to the high btu's. I was excited to find that this hood was 1200cfm and the price was definitely a selling point for me. The hood looks great in my kitchen, it has a looker of a higher end model. Great buy! The only problem I have, is with the packaging of this product, the product was loosely secure inside the box resulting in broken foams and loose parts, this has nothing to do with Amazon's packaging, but due to the manufacture. I hope this problem has been fixed, if it has than it is a great buy, great value.

Contractor Installed today item, looked great but when we turned on it blows but rattling from within the blower like a bad bearing - still waiting on resolution but already costing us a trip charge as the contractor will have to return and could not finish install.

Packaging looked very beat up ffrom shipping, and it showed on the product, the fixed mounting bracket was severely bent, and one of the fan motor ground wires were broken. Better packaging would definitely be suggested to the manufacturer. Installation wasasy and the product looks fantastic ana works great!
