Very good💓🧴
I love this gentle, lightweight shampoo and conditioner. It's full of good hydration but doesn't wear down my fine, curly hair. It leaves my hair clean, soft and nourished! It's unscented. I definitely will be repurchasing!💓🧴

Great product!
Everything made by this brand is always high quality. I chose the shampoo in the matching conditioner because I have an adult in the house with psoriasis. I also suffer from eczema. This has been an absolute game changer with the people in my home that use this shampoo and the accommodating conditioner. The only complaint I have heard is that one of my adult children has a hard time spreading it through her thick hair but I have not had that problem and neither have the other people in my home. Dissent is almost immeasurable as it does not have much sent at all. Of course the ladies really want something that smells good, but that's not great necessarily for your skin. This shampoo absolutely cleans my hair extremely well and leaves it feeling very soft which is unexpected because most shampoos do not leave my hair feeling soft. I have naturally curly hair and am Caucasian, the only other shampoo that has left my hair feeling like this is another brand but it is too highly scented and causes me issues. I absolutely love this and highly recommend it! I realize this brand is more expensive but for caring for your skin when you have psoriasis or eczema is more important and this shampoo will take care of you!

Love CeraVe
I've known about CeraVe for awhile but enjoyed using Aussie until like most of our shampoos found out it has bad stuff in it for your hair and scalp, like fractionated coconut oil which dries out your scalp and causes occasional light itching, CeraVe is different from the rest, they don't use all those crappy harsh chemicals that eat away at our protective barriers, strips us of our natural hair and scalp oils which is essential for the integrity of our hair, it's free of the really bad stuff sulfates, MIT, parabens, and fragrances which can also cause irritation with some people and are also often synthetic anyway so anything synthetic that they strip away from a brand I pay attention to. I like how this is #1 dermatologist recommended because as you can imagine it adds alot of credibility and reassurance. It has 3 essential ceramides and hyaluronic acid which is important because it allows you to clean and wash your hair like always before but without stripping away your natural oils and those compounds also help to rehydrate and remoisturize as well as giving some nutrition back to your scalp and hair which helps thicker Fuller hair grow especially in combination with other things that help like rosemary mint hair oils infused with biotin which I use an hour or two before hopping in shower and washing with this CeraVe gentle shampoo. Both are feeding my scalp and hair nutrients and other essential things for optimized scalp and hair health. 10/10 this will be my regular shampoo from now on.

Does the job!
Does a good job removing product buildup and oil! No itchiness or irritation on my scalp and the skin on my chest/ back tolerate it as well. I get that "squeaky clean" feeling on my hair if I shampoo twice, which is nice but I do think the hair tends to tangle more even with my regular conditioner. Decently color-safe-- definitely still get some color with the rinse-out, but it's not too bad. The scent isn't great-- kind of sunscreenish and weird, but it doesn't linger after I rinse it out. Overall, for the price, it's a good shampoo.

Very gentle, well cleaning, hydrating, volumizing shampoo without heavy fragrance - AWESOME!
I like the CeraVe brand for their lotion and face soap and was interested in trying this shampoo and their conditioner. I decided to try the shampoo first to see how it did with my hair before investing in the conditioner, too, just in case I didn't like it for some reason. I ordered the conditioner right after using the shampoo. It hydrated my hair so well and it felt like my scalp and hair was so clean. I was actually able to shampoo twice and did not feel like it stripped or bothered my hair at all to do so. It made my hair look thicker and have more volume. I am sensitive to scents and did not get bothered at all by this shampoo. I have had everyone in the family try it and we all love it and feel our hair is healthier with it. Hope that helps.

Simple Shampoo that cleans without stripping
Good shampoo that doesn't strip hair or dry out the scalp. My hair is coarse and fine, thinning grey hair. It has a great leather, no heavy scent, and a good bottle. It doesn't make my hair limp or oily, even on the third day. One note is I found that my wavy ends need a little more moisture so I use the hair conditioner too.

Wanted to love it, sad to say goodbye.
After using this product every day for the past two months-ish Pros: This product has ingredients that are not harmful and I feel confident that they cause no issues on my skin. I had absolutely zero negative skin reactions which I do have with other products. The texture of it going into my hair was also great. Giant note: this shampoo made me finally discover that I am low level allergic to fragrances in shampoos and conditioners. Usually I experience scalp itchiness and for some products I no longer use it can get intense and I can't stop itching my scalp all day and night. This product caused ZERO itch, and I only realized this when I switched back to a different shampoo brand and immediately experienced itching with the first wash. However the itching was a lot less than other brands and as you will see, the cons of this product made switching back a sad but inevitable decision for me. Cons: Immediately made my hair tangly and frizzy ( it became painful to run my fingers through my hair.) Did not cut the scalp oil and so I could no longer go even a single day between washes (I could if I supplemented with a different brand of shampoo but that's not the goal I was aiming for.) The accompanying conditioner did nothing to help the friz either. Did not leave my hair glossy and silky but it did feel hydrated it just didn't look good. I also noticed a slight increase in dandruff because I was scrubbing so hard to try and get all the oil out of my hair, and I wouldn't even say I have oily hair in general. When my very fine hair became tangled it was a chore to brush it out and made me feel like the amount of force I had to put in was pulling hairs out, plus it didn't feel very brushed afterwards but still frizzy and catching my fingers when I ran them through. Immediately when I used a different brand of shampoo for one day: My friz was almost gone My hair looked visibly glossy and silky It cut all the oil so I could go my normal two days between hair washes I could run my fingers straight through my hair again with only one or two slight snags After the second wash: Friz virtually none-existant Hair still looks glossy and silky When my hair became tangled, brushing it out was easy and it stayed looking brushed Overall, if you are looking for a product you feel safe putting on your body and alo will not cause you to have bad skin reactions, this product is for you. I didn't try using apple cider vinegar to see if it would help the shine or tangle because I just don't want to have fifty products in my shower and take forever to wash my hair, but I'd be super curious if anyone has tried that combo. I don't think they can fix the issues I mentioned without compromising on the cleanness of the ingredients so I will use up my bottle and probably not buy again.

It works! Better than Head & Shoulders w/ Zinc Pyrithrone
Wow! Saved my scalp and hair! I have 1/2a/2b hair—fine, medium density, low porosity, and protein sensitive, with a very sensitive scalp. I used to use Head & Shoulders (I tried everything they offer) or Dove’s Dryness & Itch Relief dandruff shampoo. Both contain zinc pyrithione, and heavy-handed synthetic-smelling fragrance. Yuck. They both also left this gross residue on my hair, where my hair felt both dry and greasy. Double yuck. And my head would still get itchy by the next day! Triple yuck! So... not exactly a win-win for any part of my head. But I'd tried so many shampoos and these were the best options :( On the other hand, this CeraVe Hydrating Shampoo is fragrance-free, doesn’t contain zinc pyrithione and leaves my scalp itch-free all day, every day (!!!) and my hair clean and bouncy. I don’t know how they did it, but I’m so grateful!!! 🙏 You have no idea. I was going insane trying to find something that would work for me. I tried SO MANY shampoos and conditioners. I thought Target was going to ban me from how many I had tried and returned. CeraVe also worked well in both hard and soft water for me. Obviously it performed better in soft water, but in hard water I successfully paired it with a clarifying shampoo and chelator (as needed): L’Oréal’s Hard Water Clarifying Shampoo and MalibuC Hard Water packets. I had to be careful with that combo though. It did a great job at stripping my hair clean, but if I used it too often, it absolutely wrecked my scalp. I now have softened water, and I pair the CeraVe shampoo with L'Oreal's Curl Conditioner or L'Oreal's Restore Conditioner (aka their hard water conditioner) and that's been working very well for me. If I need to clarify every so often, I just shampoo twice with the CeraVe shampoo, and that does the trick. Anywho, I recommend giving this shampoo a shot! Hope it works for you too! And CeraVe.... DO NOT STOP MAKING THIS AND DO NOT CHANGE THE FORMULA.
