I needed an adapter for one of my earphones and this fit the bill. It's solidly made and the sound quality is unaffected. Great adapter for the price.

I got ahead of myself on this review. The problem was 'me'...not this adaptor. Because of the construction/number of connections, you have to forcefully engage you headphone jack into this adaptor to ensure it seats COMPLETELY....all is well now. My bad. Connected to Galaxy S10e because I need to change the angle of the phone jack when using the phone on its 'jack stand'. Audio was clear but I soon discovered the people on the other end of my calls received an echo of their voice. I double/triple checked with multiple callers and removed/reinstalled this adaptor to verify - yes, the echo was created by this adaptor..

This right-angle adapter for a standard 1/8 inch stereo jack is very robust and fits securely. The audio signal is transmitted perfectly. Be certain that connections are FULLY inserted as the last 2mm or so involves a secondary "catch" to ensure a tight, secure connection!

Works more-or-less as it should for audio. No measurable impact on sound aside from the rare dropout. Snug fit for both ends. Good build quality, which I’ve come to expect from CableCreation. Unfortunately, in looking for a workaround for my LG V30+ “smart” headphone jack (if you have it, you know it) to get the high power output, even though the phone switches to aux mode when I plug in the adapter (I have an app that monitors the output mode), the volume is attenuated to an audibly lower level. I can only surmise that because the phone “sees” a microphone input from the TRRS adapter, the audio output is attenuated. Why is anyone’s guess, but the fact remains that the output is limited. The adapter is in no way at fault here. This is just a “feature” of the phone. I tested the adapter on an iPhone and an android tablet to be sure, and neither had any such attenuation of power to the headphones. If you’re looking to trick your LG phone for high output to headphones, look for a TRS to TRS adapter. This should be just fine for everyone else.

Works perfect. it has a good angle and just enough leeway not to trouble any of my other ports. I re-plug it constantly between devices and there hasn't been any signs of wear. Microphone and audio don't lose any quality either. Wish it came in a pack of 2 though.

This thing does exactly what it advertises. While the gold plating might just be a gimmick, the unit itself is very well made. It has a very secure hold on the device plugged into it, a vert audible click when you plug something into it. Sound quality doesn't seem to deteriorate at all when using this. I use to plug headphones into my desktop speakers but would like to angle the wire away and not have any tension on it and this does the job beautifully.

Lousy product. Bad connections at BOTH ends! Have both a ROKU 3 and ROKU control for my bedroom TV, AND a ROKU TV with a control in the living room. Recently replaced an old noise suppression headset (cheap item, but pretty expensive (another review subject!)) with a GREAT - and expensive - Bose QuietComfort 35 headset. I want to be able to sit in my chair, or in the bed with pillows propping me up, and listen to good music with no noise. Headset work very, vey well, but the cord for the Bose is 18 inches long (OK, since I wear shirts (and PJ tops) with breast pockets, but - here's the issue - I have this 1-1/2 inch 3.5mm stereo mini-plug sticking out at a right angle to the ROKU controls and it fits poorly/awkwardly in my shirt pocket. I figured that since it is VERY hard to find a right angle 3.5mm plug on an 18 inch long cord with a 2.5mm male plug that fits into the Bose headphones, I would just try out a right angle adapter like this one. Pennies, I thought. So what could go wrong? Fits well, as I thought. This item, however makes scratchy sounds, and it has poor connections on both the female end and the right-angled male end! Wiggle it a tiny bit and you lose left side sound, or right side sound, or both ears! Worst 5 bucks I've spent recentlty. (And Cable Creations has lots of cables and stuff with pretty favorable reviews elsewhere on Amazon. If they want me to take down/modify this post, they can offer to replace the item. I will even mail it back to them so they can test it to see how poorly it works. (Suspect a Chinese, Indonesian, Mexican, Korean company just badly made this item. And it's not worth the time and effort to return it, though that is what it deserves. If I don't hear back, I may try for another vendor. Delivery was prompt - I will say that.
