I bought this cable to connect my gaming PC to my monitor. It looks and feels well built. Definitely a premium cable. It just works, and thats exactly what I need it to do.

I upgraded to a 32" ASUS 1440p monitor using a RTX 3080, works flawlessly as always, great quality. Please, DON'T USE CHEAP CABLES for your gaming rig, I've had nothing but problems with the cheap Amazon Basic garbage and other cheap brands, especially after upgrading my gaming PC. (years ago, I thought my GPU was dying, it was a cheap-ass Amazon Basic cable, after replacing it ... no problems.)

I have the Cable Matters DP80 cable connected to a 500Hz LCD monitor using a DP 1.4 graphics card. The cable is working well, and there have been no problems so far. I have not tested the cable with DisplayPort 2.1 hardware. The other products I looked at are from Club 3D and Silkland. Monitors Unboxed received a Silkland DP 80 cable from the vendor (instead of buying one from a store), and I think they reviewed a golden sample because there are Amazon customers who report problems. The Club 3D CAC-1092 cable has a higher price than the other two, but Club 3D makes high quality cables (based on owning a Club 3D CAC-2067 cable). Level 1 Techs has done independent testing of DisplayPort cables using a Total Phase machine and eye diagrams. The Cable Matters product construction is fairly thick but flexible enough to maneuver. For comparison: I had a Club 3D CAC-2067 DisplayPort cable. The Club 3D cable was high quality and worked well; however, that cable is very thick and stiff. The Club 3D 2067 cable is so rigid that unless you find just the right position, the end plugs require some degree of rotation to align/insert into the ports. The resulting torque applied is bad for the cable, graphics card port, and/or monitor port. The Cable Matters DP80 cable is less stiff and rigid.

This Cable Matters Thunderbolt 5 cable was the perfect solution to connect an Asus 6k monitor to a Mac Mini M4. The combination of those two devices was apparently picky on cable quality since the TBT4 cables i tried didn’t support the connection. The connection is solid with no flickering or other disturbances on the screen. I then daisy chained to a second display with a TBT4 cable. It all works perfectly.

Works as expected. Fast data speeds and great value. Can't respond to durability due to the fact that once plugged in It will not move again for many years. Connection does have the lock, and the lock is very secure.

Works perfect! Older cable was giving me issues so decided to upgrade to a newer version of Displayport cable.

Je suis très satisfait de ce câble, il est réellement certifié VESA 80 Gb sur le site officiel VESA, la longueur reste inférieure à 1m 60 pour du 80 Gb et passe à la moitié au delà de cette longueur(ce qui est obligatoire dans la réalité d’aujourd’hui) J’ai acheté d’autres câbles qui se prétendaient certifiés, mais c’était faux, ils profitent de la complexité de ces normes pour tromper les clients. Le résultat est à la hauteur du 4K à 144hz avec HDR et une image magnifique sans aucun artefact ou ralentissement, malgré tout cela un prix très raisonnable, merci et bravo, désormais je n’achèterai que des câbles de cette marque

Solved the flickering issue i had with displays over DP connections

Super Kabel, konnte es an meinen Odyssey anschließen nachdem ich versehentlich das Original Kabel kaputt gemacht habe. Danke, Kauf ist sehr empfehlenswert. 5120 x 1440 auf 240 Hz

ちゃんと知りたい情報が全部書いてあるし、ケーブルも扱いやすい硬さでなんの不満もない。ただ、抜くときにボタン押し忘れて「抜けねえ」ってなるのだけは注意。

Eccellente cavo, ha risolto i problemi del cavo in dotazione col monitor Samsung G7 QHD 240hz e la RX 9070 XT. Per quanto sia certificato 8k, presentava frequenti nosignal e qualità scarsa. Con questo cavo si sono risolti tutti i problemi. Il cavo display port è un bus di scambio dati e deve essere di qualità massima. Consigliato assolutamente l'acquisto insieme alla scheda video soprattutto se di fascia medio-alta.
