Q: does the top pulldown swivel, or is it fixed? thanks

The top pulldown is a pulley that is fixed. However, the cable the pull down bar is attached to is round, so the pull down bar can swivel in any direction.

Q: Does this gym fit in your or basement and what is the height of the machine for example is it 6 feet tall .

It does fit in my basement, I absolutely LOVE this machine. It has 3 points from where you can engage the cables. It is very strong , very durable, and it gets the job done. As far as I am concerned , ( I am a non-pro competitive bodybuilder ) ... it is as far as I am concerned, GYM QUALITY. I believe it is about 7 feet tall at its apex. You will not regret buying this.

Adjustable. You can do one arm low and high crossovers as well. The pulleys are smooth as silk and handles weight. Only criticism is if you are not sitting on the chair, you'll need to make sure you have at least one foot on the stand or it's going to tip over. I bought a Yukon Long Base cage and am happy with the pulley system that I added on. But LATS work better/smoother on the CB-12.

Yes, and you can do them while facing the machine. Depending on your height, you might need a small piece of chain and 2 carabiners to adjust the cable length where it attaches to the weights, so that you get full range of motion. I did this and get full extension when doing triceps extensions facing the machine.
