This is great. We were worried, as we had read some mixed reviews, however it's been working successfully the last few nights. It is a fairly chunky unit for a domestic setting, however we have a big conservatory, so it doesn't look out for place up on the wall. It's a bit annoying that the power cable is so short, so you need to use it with an extension cord, and it takes a bit of getting used to the loud snaps when a larger insect /fly is caught, but these aren't major issues. Otherwise, we are really pleased with it.

Absolute rubbish item. Turned it on and it glows blue. But that is all that it does. It's a blue light. Flies can enter, walk along the light a bit, then fly off. Complete waste of money. I am going to buy a fly squatter and do the job by hand because this so-called insect killer is completely useless. Don't waste your money.

a good quality product ,if a little large for domestic use, fluorescent tubes are quite bright but attract the flying insects and is doing a good job.but is probably more suited to a shop or business environment because of its size.

Never found a dead insect in this ?And still see flys wasps on the windowsThese flys and wasps seem not to be attracted to the item

We have a serious fly problem, every day having to chase them with fly spray, 2 article strips full of dozens of dead flies.But this fly zapper dod nothing at all, 1 dead fly, that's itThey don't seem to attracted to, but even if they are, unless they land on the specific bars that is electrified, nothing will happen.They can walk on the metal outer frame and the bulbs just fine and then fly awayUtterly useless.

Works well straight out of the box, but the cable is very short - making it difficult to hang where it's most needed without an awkward extension lead.

Nil points.I bought it because it looked study and thought id give it a punt.The flies clearly dont agree.Not-a-one.The bigger traps do seem to do better and this one isnt that large. That's better ins ome ways for a lotof people but the snag is it doesnt work.(Not bought through amazon.)
