Keep one in hand just in case. Guitar vocalist got her cable caught while taking off the guitar. Invaluable to have a spare on hand.

Good quality for good value
When there is nothing wrong with the microphone or transmitter and you can just purchase an inexpensive wire connection. Score! I think over time I will wear this one out too due to the bend I inadvertently put on these at the plug, but still a great value.

Never had one fail
It seems fragile and I kept a spare for years and never had one fail.

They do the trick -- for a while
I bought these to replace the $60 ones my theatre was using, and while they are the correct size for the elements we were using, they're also too short and very fragile. I had one actor pull it out of seating when he bent down, and SEVERAL cables were sweat out before I found the perfect way to "waterproof" them in shrink tubing. Overall, it's a decent fix in a pinch, but absolutely no replacement for actual good cables. I'd say these are best for conferences where the user is not moving around very much.
