Great Keyboard (and value)
I have had this keyboard for about a week now and i can definitely say it is well worth the price so far. I had heard nothing about the outemu switches before picking this up but seeing as they were supposedly similar to cherry mx blues i figured for $40 i couldn't go wrong. The build quality is very good and the outemu switches are very nice. Their "click" is a bit higher than cherry blues (it's pretty much at the top of the press) and it is much louder. I like the click so this was a pleasant surprise but i wouldn't recommend you take this to work if you have coworkers near by.The form factor fits somewhere in between a tenkeyless(TKL) and a 60% board. I like this as it retains much of the functionality of a TKL board while freeing up a bit more room on my desk.As a heads up, if you are expecting backlights or dipswitches as shown on some reviews of this product online, this model does not have them. They are present on the more expensive versions though.Pros:Loud Clicky switches (if you are into that)Small, but still usable, form factorAttractive on your deskCons:I would have preferred that the home/end buttons were the default over the page up/down. I use home/end far more often than the page up/down buttons and having to hit function to access them took some getting used to.No dip switch to change the key layoutsNo backlights

Shockingly excellent!
Here are my overall impressions after a few hours with this board. It appears to be very solidly built. I purchased this really as a filler to use with my laptop as I travel and attempt to complete work. This is my first sub-80% board, and I wanted to dip my toes into the 60(ish)% realm cheaply, to see if I could adapt with ease to the layered functions that come along with this form factor.I came across this particular board on MD. I wanted to order it with Gateron Blues - but as always, I did some price checking and found an identical/lesser price here on Amazon, albeit without the Gateron's I was looking for. I decided to save an extra $20 and pick up this board with the unknown (to me) OUTEMU switches. I was somewhat hesitant - my daily driver is a Ducky One with Cherry MX Greens, so needless to say I was a bit concerned with the potential for poor switch quality. You never know what you're going to get with these Chinese knockoff switches.I'm happy to report a fantastic initial experience with the board. The keys feel slightly stiffer than my CMTK board with Cherry MX Blues, which is a feeling I absolutely love. Right out of the box they feel nice and smooth, with a great (loud) audible click, followed by a satisfying bottoming out 'thunk' that I was most surprised with considering these appear to be run-of-the-mill ABS caps. The size is perfect. I'm holding out on picking up a HHKB for the time being, as I tend to use my arrows a lot for page scrolling (I'm a lazy 'mousest') and wanted the flexibility of those being present, even if it meant a board that's a couple inches wider than the ultra small form factor that the HHKB provides.Overall, if you're in the market for a sub-80 board and don't want to drop a couple Benjamins on the HHKB or the Poker 3, pick up this board. If you just want to add to your ever-growing mech addiction, pick up this board. You won't be disappointed; on the contrary. You will be more than surprised with the build quality, switch feel, and look. It also comes with a fully standard bottom row, so you have an endless choice of aftermarket keycaps at your disposal, which is always a nice addition. I have some Tai-Hao non-microbial Miami keys coming in April from Massdrop, and I think it will look extra ridiculous on this golden colored face plate. I can't wait.Grab this board while there are still a couple left! I was so impressed by it that I immediately ordered a second board for my wife's iMac.

It's a good keyboard, just not for me.
The keyboard has a nice action to it. As with most mechanical keyboards, it has a very audible click to it. In the end, I had to return it due to WAF (wife acceptance factor) due to the noise, but it was an easy sell. Since I game a lot and don't use a microphone, I switch between WASD and chat typing, so it was a surprise to find the lack of home key indicators (little bumps of the F and J keys). It seems like such a small thing, but it really threw off my accuracy. The sad thing is that the pictures on this product show the home key indicators, but the item I received lacked them. Please keep in mind that this version lacks a backlight, as well, so you can't see where your fingers are if you misalign yourself typing. The keyboard is a good keyboard, however, it wasn't the one for me due to the above issue.

Bad product, return it...
The switch is not good... not smooth at all, and the weird noise when the key hit the bottom board. And this keyboard sells for less than 20 bucks on other websites.... Return!!

So glad I went with the Magicforce!
I spent an entire week looking for what I thought would be the best first mechanical keyboard for me. I decided to take a chance with the Magicforce. I absolutely adore the keyboard.Amazing quality for the price. I don't feel like I'm using a "cheap" board. Build quality is great. The champagne-colored metal housing is sleek and modern. The feet on the backside of the board are nicely covered in rubber. The multimedia functions are VERY responsive- even when in use through my old beat up laptop. The blue OUTEMU switches are great quality. They make typing VERY enjoyable, though I'm sure my neighbors are not impressed with just how loud they are...! They are built identical to Cherry MX switches, so swapping keycaps probably won't be a problem at all. This $40 model does not include back lighting, however, the Caps Lock key does have a nice green LED that activates only when Caps Lock is on.I do plan to eventually switch out the keycaps, but they are still very sturdy with a nice texture to them, though some of the keys have some residual markings on them from the printing process.I would recommend this board to anyone looking to get their first experience with a compact mechanical keyboard, while not investing too much. Just keep in mind that these blue switches, though amazing to type on, are VERY LOUD!Please view my attached photos!

Cracking bit of kit!
Okay so my keyboard has arrived, I've had it a few days, typed a few tens of thousands of words on it and figure I've got a good enough impression of it to give a brief review. In the box it's pretty simple.- 1 keyboard- 1 mini usb cable- 1 plastic key cap puller- 1 user manualI opted for the gold and white with outemu blue keyswitches. There is no RGB lighting, there is a single green led under the caps lock key that indicates caps lock status (on is on, yes, you'd be surprised some keyboards have the led on to indicate caps lock off). There are no DIP switches on the base visible at least without taking the entire keyboard apart and this keyboard is not reprogrammable and does not have onboard remappable buttons. It is a "standard" ANSI layout but at 60% size so expect confusion when initially trying to find some of the more obscure symbols which have been moved around.ANSI is the North American standard and we use ISO over here in Western Europe as such symbols such as ~ or \ will not work (or at the very least not match their keys and I was unable to find the backslash key regardless of modifier key combinations pressed) if you attempt to use this keyboard under UK English mappings.I have tried several but not all UK English mappings that roll as part of Ubuntu 16.10 but essentially found that once I'd switched to US English the key cap labels matched up 100% with their actual functions (including the FN based media controls) and I regained the use of my \ key which is pretty essential in my daily use.The keys, are actually the same size as standard (ANSI) keyboard keys so no feeling crammed in when using it for a long period of time. Comfort is brilliant, I've had no issues typing for hours on it before taking a rest and my typing speed is unchanged as far as I can tell (avg 83 wpm, so I'm a competent typist) once I adjusted to the US English mappings. It works with Windows and Linux without trouble, the super and meta keys working just as you'd expect.Mac requires a bit of a faff, the same keys fail to function as command and option keys which means you're going to have to do some jiggery-pokery remapping some keys if you want to retain their functionality (copy and paste for example was the first thing that I noticed being borked). Now the sound bit. I opted for the outemu blue switches as I was hoping to get as close to the "buckling spring" feel as possible and I think they come close, not perfect but close. The loud tactile click and the activation weight feels just right for me. I am a heavy typist and have broken old keyboards with my keyboard bashing before now. That said they are a lot louder than I expected then to be... I originally bought it thinking I could take it into the office but I think if I did that the police would find my body hours later having been bludgeoned to death with the keyboard by my colleagues. The spacebar when depressed at speed does have a less than pleasing "ting" noise at the end of its travel which is probably just an artifact of the stabiliser used on it.Look & feel: the gold metallic finish is more a soft rose gold look but I actually quite like it! Very smart looking with a small logo on the left hand side that's embossed/engraved into the metal plate. The white plastic undercasing is alright, nothing to write home about but is textured and doesn't feel "cheap". Completing the look underneath is the removable usb cable and the two rubber tipped flip out feet used to raise the keyboard to a typing angle. The weight of the keyboard is higher than I thought, it is solidly planted on a surface and the metal plate must be in the region of 4mm thick, it's certainly substantial which helps prevent flex (it's a good stiff chassis) all comes together to give your a product that feels more premium than it actually is. Only thing that lets it down look and feel wise is the font used for labelling the keycaps, which is quite "futuristic looking" I actually like it, but many may not.My product was purchased by me. I was not approached by anyone to review this product, I bought it as a replacement from an old portable membrane switch based keyboard.

Keine Original Cherry Blue Switchtes? Gott sei Dank
Viel wird hier genörgelt, dass keine originalen Cherry MX Blue Switches verbaut sind.Nun muss man überlegen: Was möchte man, wenn man Cherry MX Blue wählt?

Great entry level mechanical keyboard.
I have used this keyboard for a few months now and I can say it's a delight to use, I have only had contact with MX reds in the past so all of my comparisons will be against that. The keys are very solid and raised perfectly, and the switches themsleves provide you with a perfect amount of resistance, since using this KB I have found my typing has improved slightly and I am now able to type more words per minute. The board is not too small and is far off being large, this is obvious with it being a 60%ish board, if I was to try and transport this with me in a bag such as laptop bag or messenger bag it would be a piece of cake. The only downside to this board is the rubber feet on the bottom do not provide a great amount of friction so the board occasionally slips.Pros;-well made-easy to type on-portable-Modular wire-MX stemsCons;-Rubber feet are a tad slipery-wire that's included is shortish. This review was not written on the keyboard.
