LOVE Celebration. Wait til clothes dry to judge.
I bought the Celebration scent and to be honest wasn’t thrilled with how it smelled in the bottle. Or in the basin I hand washed in. It smelled like my great-grandparents house in the 90’s, stale old lady potpourri. When I pulled my clothes out to set out to dry, I still hated the way they smelled while wet. I was already planning ways to get the scent out of my clothes without having to re-wash everything (90% of my wardrobe is handwashing natural fabrics, re-washing is NOT something I want to do). Alcohol spray? Rubbing a dryer sheet? Putting an essential oil in the steamer? I had all options ready to go. And then…the clothes dried. And smelled NOTHING like the detergent did in the bottle. NOTHING like they did when wet. It’s a light, gorgeous scent that reminds me of fig with a tiny hint of spring florals. It smells scrumptious and very “old money”. I’m absolutely delighted and will be repurchasing the same scent. To top it off…it works! I squirt a bit into my 3 gallon handwashing basin (I don’t measure), fill with cold water, drop in 1-3 garments depending on soil level/color, work them a teeny bit to make sure the water is soaking into every part, and then let sit for 20-30 min. Somehow this stuff removes minor stains without pretreating or rubbing at them-it’s removed them from silk, cashmere, wool, linen. Take the clothes out and lay out to dry. No rinsing, no scrubbing, it’s fantastic!

You really do need to rinse
I’ve used Soak for years for all my hand washables. Some scents are more to my taste than others; the unscented really seems odorless - but I don’t know if it actually has a neutral scent to mask the natural aroma of the ingredients. However, you really do need to rinse afterwards. Otherwise, any dirt that came out in the wash water - which is the whole point of washing, after all - can just redeposit. Plus, I’m skeptical about product buildup: if you don’t rinse it out, where does it go?I have never had any skin irritation from Soak, but that doesn’t mean someone else couldn’t be sensitive to simmering in it.

Great!
I really loved this no-rinse detergent! I use it on my wool sweaters, and it does a great job of getting them clean while being very gentle on the material. The celebration smell is very mild and pleasant - can't really figure out a way how to describe it, but it's nice and not offensive at all, even if you're sensitive to smells. I love that this is a non-rinse formula - I can just soak my items in a bucket with the soap, then wring them out and hang them to dry. I will definitely purchase this again!

Perfect for cashmere.
Great for hand washing cashmere. I used it on a scarf and I do think the scarf will look softer once I steam it with an iron - just like is done at a dry cleaners.

Scent is really subtle
I really like this for my delicates, I was concerned the scent would be overwhelming but it is really great - not too strong but makes the laundry room smell great and leaves some subtle scent on my clothes.

No-Rinse = The Best
This is the only non-rinse delicate wash I’ve found and I’m super grateful. I use the pink bottle. I did try the Fig but ended up returning it bc I didn’t like the smell.

Game Changer
Game changer for washing sweaters. I also wash my dyson vacuum brush with it.

Essential cashmere care
I filled my laundry bucket with water and swished in a bit of the celebration Soak. 15 minutes later the weird smell of the cashmere was gone. Now it just smells like fabric! I adore cashmere so I add to my collection via used avenues: now it’s like new. I am no longer afraid to buy gently used cashmere and wool anymore.I recommend putting the soap in and swishing rather than putting it on top of the garment because then it creates a film.
