10/10 Webcam <$100 w Expansive Features on Desktop App
I was already an ObsBot fan after previously ordering the Meet 4K (1st gen). I previously had tried several webcams (Nexigo N620E, Logi Brio 300) and was frustrated by the general low quality output with poor lighting adjustments. I started looking for another webcam for my new out-of-home office setup (laptop docked to 2 monitors) and found that ObsBot had created the Meet SE - a more affordable version of the Meet I previously purchased. Since I loved my original Meet camera so much I went for it and don't regret it!I bought it at the listed price (~$70) and found the clarity of the camera was insanely good for the price. Setup was fairly seamless - my organization has corporate laptops pretty locked down, so I wasn't able to install the ObsBot Center app for tweaking the settings on my work laptop. I connected it to my home desktop to test it out first and see if I could have the settings established there & carry over to my laptop. As far as I can tell, most of the settings I established there seem to carry over but I can't verify for sure without the PC app. From my experience with the Meet 4K the app allows you do background blurring (love the range of blur offered), virtual backgrounds, face touchups, auto zoom to track face, different zoom depths, etc. The quality comes out great on my meetings (we use GWorkspace) and I like that the magnetic lens cover actually disables the computer's recognition of the camera (won't detect camera is active) when the lens is covered.Like a lot of webcam mounts for monitors, the mount will not be super stable if you're going to be drastic movements with the monitor, but for keeping my monitors in relatively the same position most of the time I've had no issues with it staying where I want it. The kinda funky looking 3-hinge-system doesn't look weird once you actually have it on a monitor and gives you a lot of flexibility in adjusting the position of the camera (especially since the camera magnetically snaps to the mount. In summary:- Great quality for $70- Expanded options for webcam features w desktop app (corporate laptop compatibility may vary depending on your company)- Have had great experiences across brand offerings- Flexible & magnetic mounting options- Nothing negative to say!

Great for recording high speed golf swing video
I'm using 2 of these OBSBOT Meet SE webcam in my golf simulator setup to record high speed golf swing video. They work great and provide good clear video at 100fps in 1080. It works with OBS and Kinovea. The stock lens has a 78 deg field of view which is not very wide for golf swing record. I was able to attach a Moment M series 18mm wide angle lens to get much wider field of view. I made a 3D print adapter to mount the Moment lens over the stock lens. You can get these Moment M series V2 lens around $20-$40 used on ebay as people upgrade to newer iphones with built-in wide angle lens and no longer need addon wide angle lens.Update: I also recently got a Moment T Series 18mm wide angle lens. This lens is slightly sharper but it's more expensive. I was able to get an open box from Moment's ebay store for $100 in like new condition. I uploaded the 3D print STL files to thing iverse.

Great affordable webcam, annoying gestures…
I bought this to have a nice webcam for my WFH setup. For the most part, it works really well. Very easy to install/mount to my monitor. I personally don’t find the magnetic attachment to come loose that easily despite what some might say. What annoys me with this camera though, is the various gimmicks that happen when you use hand or body gestures. Since I plug this into my work computer (which is managed by our IT), I cannot install the OBSBOT software for this thing. Thus, I cannot turn off or adjust the gesture settings while I use it with my work laptop. Multiple times I’ve accidentally or unknowingly made a hand gesture while on a Teams call and triggered the camera to zoom in a lot or start tracking head movement which is frustrating. If this thing had a physical switch or button on it to disable the gesture settings, this would be the perfect compact travel and/or budget webcam. The 1080p high frame rate really does look nice and I’ve gotten compliments.

It's TINY but amazing
It is way better than I expected and especially the software that comes with it is so cool. The picture quality is really good for a webcam. It's definitely not as sharp as my cell phones (s22+) main camera (not the selfie cam) but it looks almost as good because there's not much more artifacts or visual noise even though its a much smaller sensor, and 1080p instead of 4kIts not going to beat a DSLR but it will beat the vast majority of webcams, including most logitechsThe software can do some weird stuff (the beauty stuff) but all that stuff actually works surprisingly good. All the normal functions of the software work great too and its easy to use.I also left the camera on for at least 8 hours and the video was fine the whole time. Other cheaper cameras might not even last an hour but this one managed fine even at 60 fps.The HDR mode looks great too and I do like the accessories. The lens cap is magnetic, and so is the laptop clipMost importantly it also has a standard mounting thread so I was able to mount it on all of the tripods I have.I would recommend a tripod though if you don't have a monitor of laptop you're clipping itBTW, it also works with xbox series X. that isn't listed anywhere but itested and it definitely does. Obviously the extra software features aren't there and it just works as a standard webcam but still cool. If you need a camera ONLY for Xbox, you could probably get a cheaper one but if you have any use at all for a webcam on PC, I highly recommend this camera or the OBSBOT meet 2 which is supposed to be a lot better.
