I bought this for my wife to use on our rock hounding trips. It’s great!! It’s compact and has a case. I like that it has the added pick on the opposite side of the shovel head, which is perfect for picking or scooping. It is solidly built and doesn’t feel like it’ll break very easily. All that at a great price!!

Overall quality is good, purchased for foraging. Compact size & easy to fold. So far has stayed rather sharp & is easily utilized. Great value!

First. This is a great little product. I have to admit I was surprised by the spade size, but so glad I purchased this. It is a bit heavy for backpacking, but would work. All the tools part of the product work great, and the handle is strong enough it could be used in self defense if that sort of thing came up.

Havent used it yet to know how well it will work, but love the case and feels super sturdy! will be perfect to leave in the truck

This small but heavy duty, what we used to call, an Army Shovel, came in very handy and much needed to dig the ground underneath my mobile home. I was getting sewer stoppages for a long time and the quotes to fix my sewer pipe under there was astronomical. With my new, handi-dandi army shovel, I was able to dig it up, under there, and do the repair myself, for a FRACTION of the price. No other shovel I had could do the job. Even cutting the handle down short couldn’t get it. With the army shovel you can change the angle of the shovel in close quarters. And it has a small pick (ground-scratcher) as well, making it easier to break up the hard ground for easier dirt removal.I highly recommend this JEWEL for jobs such as mine, and would also be very handy to have available on camping trips and such. And the price is reasonable!

This is literally the best purchase I have made on Amazon. It works great and I have used it very heavily. I have been digging a tunnel under a wood frame house for repairs to the sub frame. I have move over a yard of dirt out with this little shovel which is a sign of how well built the shovel is made. I have had no malfunctions and I only had to tighten the handle three times.

It is cool tool I ever seen. Easy to store and carry. Worth money to buy one!

Just what I was looking for. Well-made and heavy. I appreciate the lifetime warranty, but I doubt I'll need it. We camp a lot so we'll put it to good use. Highly recommend.
