We at first bought a small regular crowbar to use on our beehive and it was just too thick to do what we needed. These things are made for the job and perfect for what we need and with the great price it is easy to buy extras in case you misplace one.

These tools are very sturdy and well finished. I have used or borrowed fellow beekeepers' tools and most of the time you can feel unfinished edges witch is a great factor for handling your bees, its never good to have to worry about stainless steel splinters. Thank you.

This is the standard, basic hive tool. Great price for two.

I've been using them for 2 or 3 months now and I have no complaints. The price was good, they seem sturdy and while I mostly use the traditional style one there have been a few times that I found the J hook helpful. Overall I'm happy with them and I'd buy them again.

I am a hobbyist beekeeper, with two hives. These hive tools work for my use and help when I am out in the field. A few thoughts...The tools are well built and have served me well over my first season. I found myself using one of the tools much more than the other, perhaps due to the design differences. I typically use the tool depicted that has the 90-degree edge on the red portion of the tool. Unfortunately, the tool with the J-hook is less used, as it has difficulty grabbing hive frames due to it having less surface area. Both tools additionally have a flat surface, which can be used to pry apart boxes that have started to stick together.In sum, these tools are a necessity for removing burr comb and performing semi-regular checks to make sure the queen is healthy and the bees are collecting honey as intended. I can easily remove my frames and would recommend these tools for their durability and design. I have a few quibbles about the usability of the J-hook tool, but others might find it more useful than I.

The hook one is my favorite as it makes popping out frames quick without damage to the comb. The other will just be my backup.

These work great. They are slightly smaller than ones I've paid twice as much for from a big name bee supplier, but that makes no difference. They are nice and strong and do the job well.

We are new beekeepers and these tools seem sturdy and solid. Only time will tell if they hold up or if as our experience progresses we are equally as pleased
