I’ve used these cedar planks a few times now, and they deliver on flavor—salmon comes off the grill with that perfect smoky cedar taste every time. The planks are thick, solid, and a great value for the money. For me, they fit two salmon filets just right, but I get why some say they’re too small for bigger cuts. The real downside? They burn fast. If you don’t watch closely, they’ll flare up and disappear quicker than you’d like. Bottom line: fantastic flavor, solid quality, but be ready to babysit the grill.

They are small. Didn't taste any smoke. Maybe I didn't char them enough before I put the salmon on.

Not just for salmon. I needed some small, thin planks to cover some cutout areas of one of my closets where I had to access electrical wiring. Looking at the high prices of thin cedar planks sent me to thinking outside the box. I found these by chance. These are the exact same thickness as the planks in my closet and were easy to cut to the right length and at a tenth of the price for planks.
