I bought two of them. They are essentially worthless. Within four months, the "little fingers" start to break off; made worse if the sun hits it, which makes the rubber brittle.

I got this for my back porch door so people could brush dirt and mud off their shoes before entering. I prefer this type over other mats because the bristles are long and flexible so they can get into deep groves of shoes. A lot of mats are barely textured and have no mechanical means to get into the tread of shoes due to not having long bristles or having wide raised pads that can't fit into the crevices of a shoe's tread.The only thing I don't like about this is that I needed to punch several holes into the bottom because it has no means of allowing water to drain. The main area of the mat is like a bucket with bristles coming up from the bottom, so it will collect water.

Country home, dirt road, dirty garage. Our cars are hard to keep clean with a dirt road and that dirt falls off in our garage and gets tracked in on our feet. I felt like I was always cleaning my back entry. Nothing I tried could keep the dirt out - even banning the footwear to the outside. I ran across this rug and I remembered having similar mats in our family bakery when I was younger. It had great reviews and I thought it was worth the shot.Although it's not entirely a miracle worker, it has caught a significant amount of dirt that tracks in the house! And the best part is I don't have to spend a half hour banging it agains the basketball pole to get the rug clean - I just flip it over in the lawn and the dirt all falls out. Love it!Can't wait to see how it works with the snow and slush in the winter!

As described very heavy duty, I am using this to go under a cat box and does an amazing job of catching the litter that escapes box. Very smooth edges that lay very flat to the floor. No sliding around stays where I put it, I could not be happier. It has been on the flor for over a week and hope the rubbery smell wears off soon.

I am a teacher and our school uses these for high traffic areas. I have been looking for these mats forever because they do such an awesome job, and I am sooooo happy I found them. I ordered 3 for my house and the rubber fingertip brushing action wipe off dirt and moisture from footwear. The Dirt is trapped out of sight below the walking surface and doesn't just sit on top and make your feet dirtier like most mats. The corrugated pattern on the bottom keeps the mat in place. Its heavy and never shifts around. All four sides have beveled edging so you aren't kicking it or tripping over it. It is super easy to clean too, you can just shake, vacuum or hose.

I use this in front of the litter box to trap litter. It's almost overkill for something as simple as trapping litter, because this mat is HEAVY. It's obviously meant for heavy duty use, like as a door mat in a high traffic area. But the little nubs are tall and flexible enough to remove litter from kitties' paws BETTER than mats that are actually designed for trapping litter. I've been a cat lady for years, and this definitely beats all the litter mats I've bought in the past (and it's cheaper).

I liked this mat at first. However, after less than 60 days, it completely tore apart. For this price, I definitely expected this to last longer. I would definitely not recommend.**Update. I contacted the company (Durable Corporation) and sent them a picture of the mat. They did question whether this was normal wear and tear. It says "Heavy Duty" in the description but to be fair, it is in front of a business front door, and wheelchairs definitely go over it. Anyhow, they quickly sent me a replacement, which I really appreciated it. I like a company with great customer service. I'm hoping this one holds up better!

These rubber mats are used a lot in commercial applications, and I got tired of picking up dirt and leaf fragments in my house so I gave it a try. It may not be the best looking product, but it does a good job trapping things that you would otherwise have to clean up in your house. I recommend getting the largest that your porch will allow for.
