When our mother rabbit rejected her babies, we had to hold her to get them to feed, and then after 10 days she stopped producing enough milk, so we bought this. The milk is easy to make up, but hard to get the powder out when the tub runs out just like baby formula. This stuff is very sticky, so we got some small animal shampoo to clean our babies otherwise it dries hard in their fur. The baby rabbits lapped this up from syringes and I do believe this was the best thing for them. They all sadly passed away between 2-5 weeks of age. Whilst this was heart-breaking, there was nothing we could have done for them, and I now wonder if mother rejected them because she knew they weren’t well from the start. Nature is cruel. Good luck to all and thank you for your efforts to care for baby animals. Even if they don’t live very long, we can give them a good life.
