Great
Bought this for my girlfriend whose electric toothbrush, had bit the dust, She is extremely pleased with it and says it is better than her previous toothbrush that cost a hell of a lot more, No problem in giving it 5 stars. just as an update, my girlfriend wanted to buy 5 more for her family, and they put the blimmin price up by £4.00 per item, within a couple of days of my purchase. She don't think that's nice... so she ain't gonna bother.... but the toothbrush is good so far. another £2.00, its going up everday, now £31.99 from 25.99.. within a week, Mr Oliver James is a greedy person indeed.

Cleaner, Fresher, Whiter
Bought this off a deal on Amazon. Thought, can't go wrong really as I wanted a replacement for my Oral B Electric. Received next day.Charged. Tried and impressed. Never have I been excited to brush my teeth. I think what makes it excitable are the modes. Which makes the experience, interesting.Great buy and recommended.Other Info -Unit - Solid and well made. Comes with a USB charger.Packaging - Nice and neat

Better than Sonicare at a fraction of the cost!
This is a fantastic toothbrush and a fraction of the cost of the Sonicair. Delivers a great clean, with many settings. It's also nice looking. The battery charge lasts much longer than the Sonicair, I might add. Overall, I'm very pleased with this high quality product, and would recommend anyone to buy this over the more expensive brand.

Affordable quality & style... deserves more than five stars
I’ve had many different types of electric toothbrushes, including a high end sonic brand. I don’t usually write long reviews but this product deserves credit! This sonic brush more than competes with the top brands. Item arrived quickly. Packaging is well designed, everything perfectly fitting for the design of the box. Good first impression. The brush itself is well made, good quality and works exactly as it should. Comes with brush cover which is very handy when travelling. I love the additional touches to the design to add simple style. This brush is louder than a standard electric toothbrush, but that is normal for a sonic, means it is doing its job! Functions and instructions are easy to follow and love the USB charger option, makes it easier to keep fully charged. If this was double the price, I would pay it. And it comes with a spare head! Super value and excellent quality. Well done Oliver James! You deserve more than 5 stars!

Better than an Oral B!
I used to love the Oral B Pulsonic toothbrushes until they discontinued most of the range and left just the slimline ones you can still buy. These are too small for my hand and after just 6 months,it has become incredibly noisy, seems to be vibrating itself to bits and the battery now holds 1 weeks brushing charge compared to the originals 1 month.Time to buy a new Sonic toothbrush. The Phillips Sonicare range are very expensive so I looked at alternatives. Some of the Chinease "own brands" don't seem to plug directly into the base of the toothbrush (I have one of these but I need a base to stand my toothbrush on), some don't have spare brushes available, others seem to be getting bad reviews so I bought this Oliver James sonic toothbrush and having had two Oral B's and a cheepo over the years, I can honestly say, this is the best sonic toothbrush I have had.The brush heads are narrow which mean you can get them down between your teeth and cheek very easily, not to mention improved accuracy on the tooth itself (which is very useful as I have slightly receding gums). The handle fits more firmly in my hand as it is wider than the Oral B "slimline" and is more like the original (now discontinued) Oral B design. This brush does seem to have more "pulses" / vibrates more than any of the previous brushes I have had but it does so quietly and the result is the best of any of my previous brushes.Looking at other reviews, the battery life looks good (although mine is only a few days old so has not needed a recharge yet). Its also more than ten pounds less than the Pulsonic, and fifty pounds less than the staring point of the Phillips Sonicare range and while the brush heads are expensive at four pounds each, this still comparable or less than the other branded heads.Altogether, this is an excellent combination of quality, price and performance. I'm glad I got one and I don't think you'd be disappointed if you got one too!UPDATE 20 11 18There is no doubt that this is a great toothbrush but 1) the price seems to go up a couple of pounds every few weeks (I bought mine @ £34.99 & £36.99 but I see it is now up to £42.99) and 2) the brush heads are starting to become a problem. As far as I can see, the only brush you can use with this handle is the Oliver James four pack @ £15.99 and I am noticing that rather than the stiffer heads of the Oral B system (which last about 6-8 weeks), these Oliver James ones are slightly softer but deteriorate much quicker and are currently lasting about 3 weeks. This system is now starting to cost nearly as much as the base level Philips Sonicare range and with yesterdays black Friday offer, I have now purchased one of these handles and a few brushes to see if the results are comparable. I will post an update in a few months.Down to 4*'s as well now!

Perfect performance vs price / Sonicare substitute
I have used Sonicare toothbrushes for years and have tried both the budget and more expensive end of the range. After my Sonicare broke about 6 months back I decided to try one of the Farywill budget electric toothbrushes for a while. It was ok, and very good for the price (if on a tight budget I would recommend it) but it didn't quite give that dentist-clean feeling that a sonic toothbrush does.As a result I was about to go back to a Sonicare when I saw the reviews for this and decided to give it a shot. I paid £39.99 for this and feel the results are as good as a Sonicare at double the price, and significantly better than a budget Sonicare. This toothbrush appears to have been cheaper in the past, so if you can pick it up for even less I would say it's a brilliant deal. The feel of the device is nice, not quite as much heft to this as a Sonicare, but it feels solid enough and has a nice finish to it - the Farywill feels light and a bit cheap in comparison (which it is to be fair).I can't yet comment on the longevity of the toothbrush but initial impressions are all very positive.
