Beautiful healthy plant
Healthy, vibrant plant! I ordered a goji berry plant from a nursery in April, although it arrived green and healthy but very small (6 inches). It started dying after I planted it. After a month of waiting for it to come back I decided to order this one from Amazon, the price is reasonable, actually less than the one I ordered from the nursery. This one arrived very quickly and well packed. The soil was still moist and all the leaves were perky, undamaged. I put it into the ground immediately and it never wilted or show any sign of traveling shock. The plant is now over 13 inches tall, the trunk is strong and growing beautifully. After the disappointed experience with the first goji plant, I am thrill to see how well this goji plant is doing. Don't hesitate to order from this seller.Update: It's October 25, four months later. I am thrilled to see these ripped red berries. I didn't expect to have fruit so soon. Just a hand full of berries but the plant had quad tripled in size!

This is the only company I buy live plants from
I’ve bought plants from reputable companies in the past & I always ended up with tiny seedlings barely hanging onto life. Then I found Proven Winners, a very aptly named company. They definitely know how to ship plants. I ordered 2 Big Lifeberries,1 gallon size. They came in 2 separate boxes, there are notches pushed in around the top of the pot to keep it from sliding up & down in the box. There are air holes so the plants can breathe. Also, the box is labeled as plants so that maybe the handlers in the shipping companies will take some care. When I ordered the 1 gallon size I expected the plant would be around 12 inches tall. The plants I received were around 24 inches tall!!! They are very, very healthy. I just might get a few berries off of these this summer.Thank you Proven Winners for a job well done.Update 07/14/18: I have many years of experience with outside gardening & "house plants" (whatever that means). I must say these plants are different. I did wonder when I read about American farmers having a tough time trying to grow Gojis.I received absolutely beautiful Goji plants. I immediately transplanted them into 2 gallon pots. I intended to plant them into raised beds. Approximately 2 weeks after transplanting they started to turn yellow. I knew I hadn’t overwatered (most common problem of yellowing) but they also looked sun burnt. A terrific heat wave had struck. So, I babied the plants, giving them hours in the shade. They still looked sickly. I was worried about losing them. I desperately wanted Gojis established this summer. So, I ordered more Gojis. Again, the plants I received were beautiful.By the time I received the second batch of gojis, the first batch had lost 99% of their leaves. I wasn’t sure what to do with them. They were already in the ground. I did the bark test (cut a branch, look for green under the bark layer). There definitely was a layer of green. It was amazing how dead the 2 plants looked without leaves. I forced myself to leave the plants in the ground. Meanwhile, my Sweetberry variety was yellowing, ugggghhh!Long story, trying to get short. My original purchase was 4 Gojis. Two of the Big Life & two of the Sweet Life. I have now ended with five Big Life & five Sweet Life because I kept buying more to replace the ones that looked like they were dying. I was determined to grow Gojis. I couldn’t believe how everyone kept saying how easy it was to grow. Some said if you can get them past the first year they will live. Before my last shipment arrived a miracle occurred. My naked plants sent up new bright green shoots. Then new leaf buds formed on the naked branches. What I can deduce is, Gojis are EXTREMELY sensitive to transplanting. All ten of my 1-gallon plants went through a spell of yellow leaves, losing leaves, followed by recovery. My advice, don’t throw away your apparently dead Goji for several weeks. Do the bark test to make sure it’s dead. I now have ten healthy Gojis. Even though they are considered a tough plant, they are sensitive to transplants. I wish I had known this before buying 6 more plants. Now I have a mini-orchard of Gojis! Some of my plants actually have a few red berries & I purchased the first plants in June (maybe late May). Amazing.

Not at all what is described
Product description says 4.5" quart and one reviewer said, "very healthy and bushy plant measures: from the top of potting soil 8 1/2" tall and 7" wide" ... that's not what I got from BayLeaf Nursery! These seedlings are 3" at most in a felt pot no larger than 1", covered with plastic wrap. The product description says 1 lb. These weigh 1.5 OUNCES. And apparently they cannot be returned because they came directly from the seller. And they took 3 weeks to arrive, without any communication from the seller.

Jammed in a small box.
Received the plant yesterday. Excited to open it. I've ordered a 4.5 in. quart size plant. I can see the plant was healthy when they packed up jammed in the shipping box. The plant arrived green, but then whomever packed this plant into the shipping box, definitely choose the wrong box size (too small). The plant arrived with broken branches and I can see stressed out. It is too early for me to say if the plant will survive. I have definitely put it in a quarantine area in which will not be disturbed by strong winds or other people or animals. Giving it some loving tender care.Proven Winners, you need to do a better job shipping these plants, I am sure we as customers expend lot of money in plants, which some of us don't care expending the money to get nice and healthy plants, but please be more careful when packing these plants. Which in the end, we all suffer customers and business alike, but also the plants are the real victims here.I am giving you 2 stars for your not caring about the plant by jamming it inside the box and choosing the wrong box for it. Hopefully I can do a good job by bringing it back to health.

Growing at an incredible rate.
I received my plant less than 3 weeks ago and it has exploded with growth. It arrived in a quart sized pot trimmed down to around 6"-8" tall. There were few leaves on it as many fell off in transit and the first few days after arrival. This led me to worry it might not survive. I replanted with MG potting soil into a gallon pot and added a teaspoon of blood meal to try and strengthen it for the last month or so of growing season. It is currently about 2 feet tall with several new limbs ~12"-18" long. It has plenty of blooms on the new growth and even one small berry is forming. I wouldn't have guessed it would be this healthy after only a couple weeks looking at the scraggily twigs I received. My new concern is how will I contain it if it continues to grow like this once in the ground. .
