IKO 8m Shed Felt - Black

Worth the money. Was easy to lay, easy to cut, good quality and thickness. Hopefully this will do my shed roof a couple of years. I also laid it with felt adhesive, nails and in some places, staples. I had to buy 2 to cover 5.3m² plus edging that was 200mm deep. I'm extremely happy with this product

There have been a few negative comments about this product, but it has worked well for me. All roofing felt will tear if it is not handled properly, even the so-called heavy duty variety. I cut a 66 inch length off the roll and I had to slide this under existing roofing felt on two edges while working from a step ladder. It took quite a bit of pushing and pulling to get it in position, but I managed all this without tearing anything. I bent the overlap along the edge and the end of the roof without any sign of cracking and where the two overlaps met I bent them and hammered a nail in, again without any cracking. So I am very satisfied with: the quality, the price, the finished job and the speedy delivery. (Standard free delivery, but the item arrived within 24 hours of being despatched.)

The felt itself is fine, but the number of included tacks is pathetic, perhaps 30? The instructions it came with say you need a tack every 5cm at the edge. One edge of the 8m roll would need 160 tacks. I assumed it would come with an appropriate amount, or I would have bought the tacks separately.
