THE NORTH FACE Borealis Commuter Laptop Backpack, Deep Grass Green/TNF Black, One Size

Hi, I had a North Face bag for years. It was great, but a bucklet broke on it and it was getting worn and it was time to get a new one. It was an older model Borealis bag and although the color and style was different this one was fairly similar. It contains one front pouch and an inner pouch (great for things like chargers and pencils) It also contains two main zipper pouches (likely one for laptop and another for books and stuff). It is a great back for both work and day hiking. Compared to another Vault North Face Bag I was looking at, it had a additional main pouch and smaller pouch which is what I needed to help seperate my electronics from my pens and pencils. Compared to my older Borealis bag, I wish it kept the clips on the side (which are handy if your bag is full or you want to fasten something long like an umbrella down), it fits all my needs for a work bag.

This backpack had many compartment and did a great job job of holding all the high school supplies. It also was pretty supportive on my son’s back with how much weight he carries.

I generally love North Face bags but I returned this one. I didn’t like how NF changed the side water bottle holders. I like the mesh they use to use better because it accommodates various water bottle sizes easier. Otherwise,,, I love the color and the bag in general. Hates to return because I love the color so much.

This pack is really great. Can use for a work/business travel and also a gym/biking/hiking bag. Nice protective laptop compartment with a front flap good for storing additional electronics/pens/notebooks. Main compartment has good capacity without being a clunky overall package. I really love how expandable it is, and also all the straps you can tighten to streamline the overall size when traveling.

I finally replaced my ancient backpack with this one. I was afraid I wouldn't be able to cram all my stuff into a new one like I could my old one. This one did great on my recent trip. I like that you can stuff a jacket into the front elastic strings and not have to waste interior space for it. Also has some compartments for things you need to find quickly. I am really pleased with this purchase and I am very picky about backpacks!
