18-0 home ground can opener (Japan import/The package and the manual are written in Japanese)

I bought this can opener after a long and painstaking research process which entailed some disappointment with other complex but eventually useful options. Eventually I came across this can opener and it has been highly successful. It does what it's meant to do. It feels solid and well built while been use and it's so smooth it gives a really nice feeling when using it. The blade is sharp and it also includes a handy bottle opener bit.It's so good that my wife and I almost try and seize the opportunity to open a can from the other.I don't usually spend much time researching products before purchasing them but I did in this instance. My wife is the opposite and so she states every time she sees this can opener our marriage is strengthened as it reminds her how much she loves the fact that I took the time to find such a good product. Forget about other complex and useless blunt can openers. This is simple, durable and works every time. You won't be disappointed!

I have a British army /BCB P51 size metal can opener which folds up and is one of the best portable can openers around. But this beats them hands down due to it being somewhat bigger and therefor more manoeuvrable. Quality stainless steel construction and top notch riveted blade that is nicely sharp for use. A brilliant little tool, that is the only can opener that I use. Also has an area where a bottle top can be removed as well. Top Notch and worth buying as a main can opener and certainly a brilliant back up at home or for camping and holidays.

This is what I’d been looking for and bigger than I expected. Works well and seems sturdy (so far).

Simple, fast, durable, few parts, so there's nothing to break as in the more complex ones.

You don't need to use any strenght to open the cans.

This type of can opener is really hard, if not impossible to find, in England. I always stock up when we go on holiday abroad but the iron type go rusty. Needed a new one ASAP and decided I needed stainless steel. This one did cost more but it's great quality so will last years to come and I will save money as no longer need to buy ring pull tins. Slightly smaller and a bit heavier than the others but not too small and the weight aids opening. Really sharp and little pressure is required to open a can. I'm going to try and purchase another!

This is hands down the best can opener I've ever used. You can feel how well-made it is by holding it. It slices through cans like a hot knife through butter and opens them quicker than the normal crank openers once you learn the technique (which only takes one or two tries if you've never used this style before). We got sick of having to by new can openers every year and saw the reviews for this and decided to try it out. I'm so glad that we did. I hate using any other opener now 😆

I have spent so much money on can openers and they either don't work or after a while break. I needed to open a can and none of my 3 openers was working, so I asked a neighbour if she had one. She came out with a little weird contraption, I've never seen one like that before but she opened my tin so easily I just had to buy one. It's small and doesn't take up much room in my draw. Took me a while to get the hang of using it, but eventally opened my can. It came with no instructions.Good little contraption, but can be a little hard on the fingers when opening the can.
