Sumikundo 15429 Solid Ink Ink Set, 6 Colors

Nice opaque watercolors..very high pigments. Im not certain how well layering would work because they really look like Egg Paint

Very pigmented, smooth, and creamy.

These paints are a nice addition and allow me to create illustration with a completely different look than those I create with standard watercolor. They are different , more opaque and easier to lift than standard watercolor. I update with an example soon.

What an experience, using these! They are nothing like watercolors, nothing like oils, nothing like acrylics. They really are a whole other, wonderful class of media. I love that I happened on Sumikundo’s ink sets. I’ve bought several other of Sumikundo’s color sets, and each made me swoon.

These are creamy and nicely pigmented. Would recommend

The “ink” is not permanent. Even after 24 hrs I can still rewet the paint and it smears. This is more like gouache paint.

schöne ergiebige Farben

Not that I know about this stuff, but It looks good, delivery was excellent.

They are fine on watercolour paper and come into their own on rice paper.

Ich liebe die Farben, laufen sehr schön ineinander beim Aquarell malen. Für diesen Preis einfach klasse.
