Update VCM Muzzler Harness Disable Kit Replacement Compatible with Hon.da 3.5L V6 Engine with VCM

Our 2012 Crosstour had a light vibration after having hte motor mounts replaced and I installed this harness to keep it from going into ECO mode. It took 5 minutes to install and works great. 12 tanks of gas later and no drop in fuel mileage.

I installed this two days ago in my 2014 Honda Odyssey at a 86 ohm setting. Immediately I noticed more power and increased fuel efficiency. I ran it for two days and then removed to put some atv gasket seal around it so water can’t get in. I just got to the airport and I got 31 MPG on my drive here, next weekend I’ll be making a 300 mile trip and can’t wait to see the difference. So far it’s amazing! Even if it only lasts a year at $19 I’ll buy another.

This doesn't work on my 2025 Honda Pilot. It's installed properly and I followed the instructions. I started at the proper resistance and had to keep upping it as suggested. The temperature gauge is lower but the dash green light stays on most of the time. There is absolutely no difference in the engine/drivetrain performance.

Does NOT fit the connector of a 2006 Honda Pilot, even though the Amazon garage feature said it would.

Super easy to install, took maybe 5 minutes. I flipped the 82 ohm switch and it worked perfectly. When starting the car again there was a check engine light but I’m assuming that was just from unplugging the coolant sensor, after clearing the code it stayed off for good. No more VCM and no more eco light, will keep your engine healthy for longer!

I put this in my 2011 Honda Accord 2D V6. It was a quick and easy install, about 5 minutes.I set the dip switch based on other review recommendations (82 ohms), and it has prevented the motor from switching to Eco mode as desired.It's been in place for over a month. I haven't seen a notable increase in performance, but I have noticed a 1-2mpg reduction.Item does exactly what it is supposed to. I confirmed this change with my Honda mechanic, and he acknowledged it was a good option.

Just installed on my 2012 Honda Pilot Exl 4x4 and it does exactly what it says. It does the same thing as the $80 vcm muzzler without the hassle of installing different resistors as this one has them all already installed on switches. There's a few negative reviews with one being a supposed electrical engineer saying it's impossible for it to work the way it's set up he's definitely wrong. Maybe he got a bad one or the one that wasnt updated or something because mine works perfectly.This muzzler makes it so the ECO light doesn't come on and works great. The only noticeable thing it does is on the temperature gauge it's just a tad bit lower than normal (to keep the vcm from activating). Fits great and matches the 3 prong plug perfectly. For the price you can't beat it.

The product did work as described by turning off the eco mode on my 2015 Honda odyssey. The issue I have though is even after over a week of riding the check engine light stays on. I have tried every resistance and left it on for a week at least and it’s always the same result. It was easy to use and does disable as described but continues to leave my CE light on. Maybe I’m missing something.
