As a long time ham radio operator, I was a bit skeptical when I saw this radio and the extremely low price. Having now owned and operated this radio, my skepticism is gone. I programmed in my local 440 repeaters and began operating. Seeing the tiny antenna, I wasn't too hopeful. Don't let the short and enclosed antenna fool you. I'm hitting a repeater that is 30 miles away. I'm getting reports from other local ham radio operators that my audio quality is consistent with my high-priced Japanese radio. I also like that this fits in my shirt pocket with ease. Today I had it in my pocket at church and no one ever even noticed (not even my wife). The radio has a similar profile to the Yaesu VX-3 or the Baofeng UV-3 but is a lot thinner. The radio fully charges in about 2 hours. Programming is quite simple with CHIRP software and the typical Baofeng programming cable. Hope this review helps others make a wise choice in making a purchase. 73 and many blessings, Todd (K7MAT)

We got these to communicate in our campground and across the grounds. So far they work great. Communicating across the campground is easy but in the past we've had issues when communicating with personnel up in the hills. No such problem with these. Whether up or down, everyone can hear eachother. They're also nice and loud. We also really like the short built in antennas. Much less likely to catch on anything and won't be pulled off easily. The belt clips are also a nice touch. They seem a bit frail at first but we haven't had any break yet, and they work well. They also come with an earpiece although we haven't used those yet. A good little radio that is well worth the money.

For the price, these little radios are a great value. Unfortunately they no longer come with charging docks and extra betteries. I'm also trying to find the VOX functionality, I haven't figured it out yet. I don't believe that functionality exists on these radios since both the radio and ear piece have PTT mics.The audio quality is amazing, very crisp, especially when using the ear piece. The main reasons I purchased these is for traveling in different vehicles (don't need to use up cell minutes if your restricted that way). And I got them for use at the shooting range (abandoned quarry actually). They'll come in handy when one of us has to walk down range to change targets. We can communicate how we want the targets set up without yelling at each other since our targets are usually over 100 yards away. All in all, these little guys are going to come in very handy in a lot of ways. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase.Now, if I can find a motorcycle helmet kit that works with these radios, all will be well in my universe.

i have to say these radios are nice and thin and low cost. There simplified interface requiring no screen they vocaly tell you everything in a very clear voice. I like them and will be ordering more

I would go all the way fpr these walkie talkies, they have excellent quality on the sound, smaller than a phone, and lightweight. I would definitely recommend with my eyes closed. You wont regret buying!!

Compré estos radios para usarlos en eventos como bodas y Xv años, un entorno ruidoso y difícil, normalmente usábamos los motorola tradicionales los cuales siempre se quedan sin pila y la menor barda que tengas enfrente se quedan sin señal...Los puse a cargar un día antes, en dos horas todos marcaban luz verde (cargados) en el evento asigne con un simple click en el botón - el mismo canal a todos los radios (1) y en cuestión de segundos todos estábamos escuchándonos fuerte y claro a través del inear (audífono que va dentro del oido). El evento duró 10 horas continuas en las cuales los radios no fallaron, no se quedaron sin pila y el desplazamiento era en un terreno que mide varias hectáreas con muchos arboles, postes de luz, bardas, carpas y demás...Estoy gratamente sorprendido y sin duda es una de mis mejores compras, ahora sólo espero que duren mucho tiempo. Los recomiendo totalmente.

Los ocupo para cordinarme aun mejor en la grabacion multicamara de eventos sociales y la verdad que el rango es muy bueno, cuando realizamos la prueba dias antes si tienen un alcance wow mas de 1km de distancia y sin problemas, todo

Estuve revisando muchos modelos porque no entendía bien lo de los canales. Una vez que llegó notamos que alcanza casi una cuadra y su recepción es muy buena. Producto manejable. Casi tamaño de un cel un poco más amplio se puede guardar en bolsa de un over all. Precio muy recomendable

El radio excelente alcance y por el precio el material esta muy bien (no esperes la mejor calidad pero son baratos para lo que hacen)Donde si no recomiendo son los auriculares muy chafas, si no los necesitas es el radio para ti. Si ocupas mucho los auriculares ni los compres

...lo único que, en algunas descripciones técnicas en portales de venta dice que tiene la función VOX pero no sé cómo activarla. Si alguien sabe por favor comentar, gracias.
